Holiday Gift arrived, game over and hopefully the cologne/perfume commercials are done with as well.
Heavy handed ref crew for sure, even then a TON of fouls could have still been called. The better we get, the less in your face the team will be imo, this will bode well come tourney time. NCAA tourney has never favored heavily physical playing teams. We need to get better so that we can be a little less hands on, that said I love the aggressive tone we have now.
KP (B-) Take the good with the bad, the turnovers came at some very bad times today.
Boz (A) Easily the best player on the court today. He held us together, was aggressive on offense when needed and manned up on defense the entire game.
White (B) Stuck his nose in there, played to the hoop for most part and rebounded.
Humrichous (C-) Wants to do well, but change of level of competition is showing. He rebounded fairly well, defense is terrible though, and well shooting (Meh)
Ivisic (B) Rebounded, passed well, didn't press, got some really bad foul calls go against him.
DGL (B) Thought he played loose, didn't look like he was scared he was going to get pulled out of the game every whistle. Like the aggressiveness as well.
Rez (A) Freshman playing like a man today, this guy is going to be a beast by year 3 at the latest. Love the rebounding, he stuck in every play, some bad calls.
Riley, Davis, Booth, nothing to really report here, Riley may have some future potential, but if he goes PRO after this year I will be shocked, good for us.
Overall hard fought game, called and calls missed both ways, both teams could argue they should have won....glad the ILLINI actually did. NEXT!!
