It is 100% much, much better - but you did that same thing.  It was never fair to criticize Fields, ever, because of something somebody else did.

Also, Caleb has been way (WAY) better than Fields ever was here.  He needs to get quite a bit better but he's already a major, major improvement.  Surely you agree with that right?

Wanting a competent offensive line before I judged Fields isn’t “the same thing” as PAMan insisting the line is still inadequate when they are generally regarded as one of the better offensive lines in the league. That’s absurd.

We went from bottom 5 (or worse) OL to top 5 OL (not to mention massive upgrades literally everywhere else, including coaching), and PAMan is still hesitant to make any judgments until the line is better.

Which I’ve been pretty pleased overall with Caleb. But let’s not act like he’s doing this with the 2022 OL, Luke Getsy, N’Keal Harry, and Byron Pringle.

I’ve been pretty happy with his development, particularly the second half of the year and the last 4-5 games. Some things to clean up, but the arrow is pointing up. Judy already thinks he’s elite. I wouldn’t go that far. He can do elite things, but I wouldn’t call him elite yet. The last month has been the best month of his career.

The only QB in the NFL I’m taking ahead of him for a 2 minute drive at the end of a game is probably Josh Allen…
