It's fucked up for sure, but just another step towards 4 mega conferences and the tv rights and governance rules that will come with. NCAA, see ya.

But UCLA and USC moving to the Big10 doesn't have the geographical hilarity of Cal, Stanford and SMU moving to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

True. I just hate it all and hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for college sports as we know it, even though I know it is.

I’ve always liked college sports better than pro but I have relied increasingly heavily on college to get my sports fix. If college gets as corporate and uninteresting as pro sports I may have to just reinvest my time into other things.

Yeah it is for sure. It’s never gonna have the same feel as when it was more regional. Now it’s basically all about the money. For players, coaches, schools, television, etc… it loses some of its luster and passion.

Minnesota kid, Dawson Garcia, is staying with the gofs saying he's proud to put on the Minnesota jersey to represent the state school. He's turned down more NIL money at other schools to stay home.
