And we fail to win another important game....while getting owned by Purdue AGAIN!

I hate sports

I work with a lot of Purdue grads and have a couple neighbors. The last couple of years have sucked in that regard. On the flip side it’s nice to be playing for something against a top 3 team in March. I have to hope this lights a fire under the staff. They can’t be happy being owned by Purdue.

They’ve already got another one coming in for next year…

Not all 7 footers are created equally. But with our luck, he'll be another Edey clone and then some.

There really hasn’t been an Edey clone in 30ish years

They are a lot better than last year.
Pretty much have the whole package.
They should go deep in tourney.

We might get another shot at them.

Irrelevant game. Save the big wins for The Tournament.

I was above my average again but my team wasn't great so we lost 4/5 points

I was in a bowling league in Savoy many, many years ago. Friday nights. How I never got a dui is still a mystery.

Usually my wife was ok to drive, but there were a couple nights where things were a bit sketch...

lol yea the designated wife driver is nice... i usually only have 3-4 beers, in like 3-4 hours, so I'm almost always good for the 10 minute drive home

Edey is a unique case. Normally a guy who's that big and dominant would have gotten pro money but the NBA needs different skills now. There's a lot of 7 footers who show up to college and very few of them, even highly ranked guys, play like Patrick Ewing for multiple years *and* have guards that can work an offense around that type of player at a top 10 level.

Also they'll lose in the Elite Eight and it's going to be mildly funny.

The Underwood special. Play a team above you tough, even lead, fail down the stretch and lose

How was Quincy not in end of game when you needed a 3?
