If this is our mid-year slump, get thru it and get back on track and dictate the pace of the game a little.

2/6 FTs. Zero FG attempts. What was the deal? Wrist acting up again?

No idea. 2 pts and 4 boards and never looked like he was in the game much.

W is a W is a W but having to sit through that was worse than going in for a root canal.

TSJ better recapture his mojo ASAP.
Sure wasn't pretty but it's a W. 28-16 run to win after being down 7. Gotta come out to start 2nd half much better than recent games.

I don’t think the reintegration of TSJ is going to be a quick thing. He’s not just “not himself,” he was flat out bad on both ends of the floor today. If it weren’t for his ability to get fouled by running into people, he’d be a completely liability. He’s clearly not right mentally. I’m really hoping a light switch gets flipped here but this is really concerning. And it’s getting worse each game. It’s really a double edged sword. Like you need to play him so he gets his confidence back but then you’re putting games in jeopardy. We matched up better with NU without him.

Yeah it feels like a midseason reset with TSJ being reintegrated. He very well could have been at the facility working out with Fletch but it's nowhere near the same as being in game shape. Just hope he finds it quickly.

DGL gave us the kick in the ass we badly needed.

Thought they looked better on both ends when Rodgers was in there. But what do I know?

It's really a trade off. If their 5 is guarding him then they layoff and clog the lane.
So no booty ball and TSj driving like a crazy man into lane.

Using Harmon or Moretti or DGL makes them play us more honest.

Also they can play a smaller guy on Hawkins if their 5 is on Rodgers and Hawkins does not make them pay.

It's a work in progress.

Gotta win the smellers. At the Bucknuts then home for the Huskers. Win both and work things out.

Very mediocre win to say the least, the guys fought and ekked out a B1G win today, that said:

Hawkins for all he does is the only guy in the history of basketball to never commit a foul and also always gets fouled and obviously never gets the calls...this kid has become my least favorite ILLINI, and I liked him alot when we got him. The head case has to stop...

TSJ, looks beyond rusty since returning, looks to be trying to pick his spots, however, some on team seem to be looking his way more, the offense ran better when he was gone I hate to say it.

Domask is a god send for us so far and we will go as he does, not TSJ imo.

Guerrier, needs to be guarding the Bigs at the 5 position, he is more physical than CoHawk.

Goode, looked at least like he wanted to see what making a 2 would be like....turning into a very above average rebounder

Harmon will give us quality minutes game in and game out.

Rodgers will be a STUD next year, can't see him not shooting 500-1000 shots per day this summer.

DGL will get more minutes moving forward

BU simply didn't seem to have the right rotations, the offense was horrendous, and we got smoked in the paint....we keep Feb going like we are ending January, our seed option will go from a 4-5 to a 9-10.

"We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors."

The game was ugly but not as ugly as the Oregon hoops floor.

It looks like a lot of accidents happened on it.

Went to a game there a while ago.  It's just as bad in person.
