Word has it he could be 30 million per year. Not sure Poles will spend that on a 30 year old player. Still could use upgrades at other positions as well. I’m sort of guesstimating though, I could be wrong. Maybe he’s well within the budget. I haven’t done the math. I just read he was going to be quite expensive and Poles seems to like himself a bargain.

From what I can surmise looks like the Bears still have about 45 million in cap money. So another big contract is doable. I just wonder if they’d spend 30 million a year on another defensive contract on a 29 year old (30 in season) player. I’m not against it, but I’d also like to see what they might do with the rest of that money. I’d still like a top notch Center.

If they added Hunter and Connor Williams with the rest of that, I don’t think I’d have any complaints.

Mooney gets 3 yrs 39 million (26 guaranteed) from Atlanta. Wow, seems to me they almost had to be bidding against themselves. Did not think he’d get anything near that. I might have thought 2/10.

The problem with Jackson was the cost, wasn't it? He wanted, and got, a good haul of cash. The problem with Fields is he stinks and idiots on Twitter think he is really good.
