It’s not that uncommon to have that Point A to Point B coach. And again, I never said he HAS to go. IMO the only one that HAS to go at this point is Getsy. He’s an idiot.

Yeah, 3-14 not really “his fault,” doesn’t mean he’s shown himself to be a great choice to lead the team going forward. I have no strong feeling on whether he should be fired or not. But if I am looking at it as objectively as possible, I’d say he probably should be. I am 100% convinced Getsy should be. But sometimes you just look at your coach and say “this isn’t the guy to get us to the next level.” It happened to Rick Renteria here as well.

That doesn’t mean the rebuild is doomed. Expecting a 1st year turnaround probably wasn’t as realistic as we’d hoped. They’ve had a lot of injuries. The fact that they went into the Packers game and (first few games) unprepared was damning. Despite some “acceptable” excuses.
