Only JFC can't be judged by his record in games he started?
Those are murky waters. Especially when judging 1st and 2nd year quarterbacks who’ve been given very little or nothing to work with.
There are also “winning quarterbacks” (Tony Romo and Philip Rivers for example) and there are Super Bowl quarterbacks (Patrick Mahomes/Joe Burrow).
I think it’ll be a lot fairer to judge Fields on wins and losses in years 3 and 4 if that’s how you love judging quarterbacks. But by and large, wins and losses are not a quarterback stat.
I’ll bet Archie Manning would have been a lot better quarterback had he played for Pittsburgh instead of New Orleans.
