I think the writing is on the wall. We've played 2 decent teams in the last 9 games and lost both of them. The other 7 wins were against shit teams. (Teams not making the NCAA tournament). The only exception might be Michigan State. Maybe.
While we are playing better, it was a low bar in a bad conference to begin with. We make so many stupid illogical decisions every game. There are too many problems with this team and intelligence is not their strong suit.
How many times did Mayer touch the ball in the last 3 minutes of the game? I don't think he shot it once. He's our best player and it's not even close anymore. Mayer > Shannon. I have also lost all faith in Coleman Hawkings. Dude is killing us game after game with stupid ass decisions on offense. He is a terrible offensive player and liability for us on that end of the floor.
Probably looking at a 4-4 or 3-5 finish. Put us at 19-12 or 20-11 overall. Somewhere near a 10 or 11 seed and mostly likely a 1 and done.
