Who knows?  It’s not my place to make that judgment or criticize the choice she made for herself.  I can’t imagine she WANTED this.  But I’m glad she had the courage to do what she needed to and didn’t prioritize winning a gold medal for YOU over her mental health.  There’s a lot to be learned from that.

She didn't screw over me. I didn't bet on it. She screwed over her teammates who had been working towards this for their whole lives.

And if they’re pissed about it, I’m sure that will be discussed and handled between them.  There’s no indication of that though.  The people mad about it have no skin in the game, almost to a person.  In fact, I haven’t seen a single Olympian or former Olympian who isn’t supportive and understanding of her.  Only like, Charlie Kirk and his fans, and you.
