Those dairy tariffs only kick in if the US attempts to dump surpluses. That info has been readily available. I even posted it here. Try to keep up. OTOH, Canada has pulled some shit regarding how their quotas are implemented. More details:

Trump’s Misleading Claim on Canadian Dairy Tariffs
By Ben Cohen

Posted on April 1, 2025

To support his plan to increase tariffs, President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that the Canadian government charges U.S. farmers a 250% or 270% tariff on dairy products exported to Canada. That’s misleading. There are rates that high on the books, but they would only be charged if U.S. exports exceed predetermined tariff rate quotas, which the dairy exports don’t come close to meeting.
currently allocates 85%–100% of the TRQs to domestic processors on a market-share basis, depending on the type of dairy product. As a result, the processors mostly import dairy products that must undergo additional processing before they are ready for retail sale.”

In December 2021, a USMCA dispute settlement panel ruled in favor of the U.S. dairy industry on this matter. After Canada subsequently implemented changes, another ruling by a USMCA panel in November 2023 found that the nation’s updated policies were permissible under the trade agreement and could continue. The IDFA and some lawmakers maintain that Canada continues to violate the USMCA through its dairy policies.

Ultimately, the economists writing for the University of California publication concluded that the U.S. dairy industry’s concerns regarding violations of the USMCA have little real-world effect on the American dairy industry. “If Canada were to change their TRQ allocation system to fully align with the petition from the United States, not much would change regarding the makeup of Canadian dairy imports,” they wrote.

Definitely sounds like a few here!

The Cynical, Gullible American Man

Many Americans believe that vaccines are unsafe, but will jab themselves full of performance enhancers. They think seed oils cause chronic disease, but beef tallow is healthy. They’ll say you can’t trust federally insured banks, but you can trust the millionaires who want you to invest in their volatile vaporware crypto tokens. They think food additives are toxic but support an administration removing all restrictions on pumping pollutants into air and water. They’ll insist that you can’t trust scientists, because they’re part of the conspiracy. The podcaster selling you his special creatine gummies, though? He seems trustworthy.

The cynicism is highly selective: Gullicists see everyone’s hidden motives—except when they don’t. They are able to reject any claim rooted in actual evidence—whether in science, politics, or history—while embracing the most breathtakingly absurd assertions on the same topics. Indeed, documentation is often taken as further evidence of conspiracy, while assertion (that this or that will “detoxify” your blood or that COVID deaths were exaggerated) is taken as gospel.

Interesting. We know you are gullible - so which is it? Are you not an American, or are you not a man?

I cannot be shot with a vaccine, but I am too weak to resist stuffing my face with piles of crap, so I must be shot up with Wegovy.

I guess if you're a fat fuck like Custard, it's not a bad choice to hit up the Ozempic though.

Jeez, tale as old as time, and certainly not limited to the right leaning male they’re intent on skewering here. The list of suppositions is verrrrry lengthy and absurd, to boot. But I bet it makes compelling reading for liberal urban (and suburbs, such as Itasca) incels!

I meant you specifically.

How do you feel about the new Iran leader? Excited about draconian human and civil rights abuses so long as Trump is disappointed about it?

Heard a lot about how mistreated women are in our society. I went so far as to say I’d prefer my NFL commentary come from someone who played the game, and you’ve given me shit to no end about it. Haven’t heard a peep from you about the women of Iran. Ever seen how they lived before 1979?

Eagerly awaiting your impassioned defense of the women of Iran, particularly the sports analysts!

Weren’t you a “no new wars” guy? You rejected someone’s opinion on football because she was a woman. Probably trying to be snarky. But we’ve seen how you talk and post about women here. You clearly prefer the subservient type who plays their gender role.

I absolutely feel for the women of Iran. I’m willing to bet only one of us wrote a paper at the U of I about 20th century Iran, and I’m willing to bet only one of us has read this book. It’s one of my favorite reads by the way.
