Defensively,
1) We have lightweight linebackers on the edge who get overwhelmed easily
2) Matt Bailey is not very good at taking good angles or filling gaps from a close-uo position
3) Xavier scott has lost a little bit
4) Our linebackers are kinda sorta really, really bad at tackling

Not good

Keaton gets his jersey in the rafters, and we get a final four banner as well.
Not bad considering all the ups and downs this year.

Fun stat: USC is #1 in team sacks this year in all of college football. Illinois is 132nd in protecting the QB, according to ESPN.

The athletic has Will Riley going 31st.  😔

Not good.

Nike Hoop Summit shows Mirkovic @ 6'-11", 3 7'0 on the roster with Jak and Sarr listed at 6'-7.5"

David Mirkovic is 6'8 255lbs

Does that count as a returning starter??

I mean ... He kinda is ...in a f***** up way.

Morez averaged 5.7 fouls per 40 minutes.

Morez and Ben played completely different roles on the team.

Yeah, and Ben gave up 5.7 dunks per 40 minutes.

Morez, despite not shooting 3s, was arguably still more versatile than Ben  b/c he could defend the rim, rebound, and get physical offensively on the block.

Ben just shot 3s( @ a mediocre clip). He was nothing inside. He was a horrid rebounder the majority of the season.

Operation 'Force Fran's Retirement' is scheduled to commence @ 5:30 this evening.

Can't wait
