Title: Itasca
Post by: Reacher on May 10, 2023, 03:41:23 PM
Is not overly friendly for a small town. Might as well be Paris. If someone acknowledges you as you pass on a walk, it’s 50/50.

How’s Washington for causal friendliness, Jobu?

Why is this in the football section?

At least you have not been mugged by undocumented individuals in Itasca.

Who would’ve thought a town/city as white demographically as Washington could be friendly… weird. Must be something in the water or all that shame and remorse for the color of their skin.

I was walking around the neighborhood, thought I was still in the deuce.

It’s warm and sunny out there. That’s my excuse….

A fair amount of Eastern European immigrants around my neighborhood. Maybe they’re afraid they’re going to have to use their English? Was I just racist?

I mean, not saying people from Itasca are not nice. Just not a lot of eagerness to say hello when passing by. Kind of superficial niceness really, so not overly important I guess.
