I’ve been really feeling the blue cheese lately. The good stuff. Not the Kraft et al. My usual go to is Marie’s Raspberry Vinaigrette which is absolutely killer with red onions, Kalamata olives, and sliced carrots (on a salad of course). Has to be romaine.
Some baked chicken breast with lemon on a salad with blue cheese has been my jam lately. Anyone else feeling the bleu cheese?

Are Roquefort and blue cheese the same thing?
Roquefort is a French version of blue cheese. It's made from fresh and unpasteurized sheep's milk and gets its blue veins from Penicillium Roqueforti fungus, initially found in the soil of Roquefort-sur-Soulzon caves, where the cheese comes from.Sep 9, 2022

To my knowledge, yes.

Tempo is doing a parody thread here? Wow! Well done. Bravo!

Just downed a couple blue cheese salads for first time in a bit. Went down pretty good. But I’ve also been talking to Zesty Italian, and have a date with Raspberry Vinaigrette. And Greek Feta and Oregano seems to like me as well.

Like I said, went down well, had to have more. Love me some (good) blue cheese dressing. Gotta be the good stuff though.

Did dressing #3 text you a selfie?

Just knocked out another tasty salad with blue cheese. If you’re not a fan of good blue cheese, you’re missing out.

Did dressing #3 text you a selfie?
Yes. She’s also married.

Still hammering the blue cheese salads. Although I made a pretty big mistake last week. Saved .50 cents by buying Marie’s Super Chunk blue cheese. Should have stuck with the Marzetti’s it’s just plain better. Don’t repeat my mistakes. This has been a public service announcement.

Is this about salad dressing or actual blue or bleu cheese?

Blue cheese salad dressing. Or, bleu cheese salad dressing.

I like to make a bleu cheese/minced garlic compound butter to melt on top of filet mignon.

Not if you’re into texture. I love a steak that virtually melts in your mouth.

I like Marie's over the other brand you prefer.

I'm not saying Filet is bad. Just overrated. You can do the same with a New York strip or a ribeye.

Agreed…

I like a good filet about 3-4 times a year. Most of the time I’m a ribeye guy.

There’s no accounting for taste.

New at the Wild home games this year is the chicken sausage on a bun, with cole slaw and blue cheese crumbles. A bargain, I'm sure, at only $16.
No charge for the skewers tho.

Fishing is done and the boat is cleaned up and gets stashed away tomorrow.
A tough end to the season tho. The massive perch hatch this year moved out of the dying weeds and the walleye had more than enough food to eat. We outsmarted a couple of them tho.

Just had a couple of bowls, and even though the salad was made for dinner on Friday, the Marzetti’s blue cheese was smackin’.
