Who wins in a 1 on 1 game and why?
-
Terrence Shannon has a slightly higher offensive player efficiency rating 116 versus Brandon Paul's 108 Paul was a slightly better defensive player at 100 compared to Terence Shannon Jr's 98.
But even with all that for some reason I would think Brandon Paul would win. He had a more explosive vertical.

Shannon younger. Probably wins easily.

2013 Brandon paul not currently 31 year old Brandon paul.
-
If it turns into a 3 point shooting contest, who racks up more airballs?
-
Paul -- better handles.

Oh.

Paul -- better handles.
Leaning this way as well.

But TSJ’s physicality might dominate.
-
Really similar players. I trusted Paul more as a lead guard but the numbers are a wash and Shannon's the better shooter. I think that's the really close game.

BP3 could do this, though.

Then it was all down hill from there. Which of course was a good thing since it resulted in Weber's firing.

I think Brandon Paul would destroy him. He'd sit on Shannon's left hand. Paul had far better handles to create his own shot.
Shannon can't really create his own shot in a 1 on 1 situation. So I'll take BP3. But as an NBA piece, I think Shannon has a better shot at the league.
I'm still surprised Malcolm Hill is in the NBA and Brandon Paul isn't. I think Paul is better at everything than Hill. Hill must have a great agent
