That were in the freezer about 5 months, then sat in the fridge about a week. They didn’t smell or look bad so I cooked them and ate them. They were tasty. Should I worry about dying? If I die this weekend I give PAMan and Jobu the blessing to celebrate my death.

Lamb usually smells bad. Not sure how to tell if they are bad.
Are you talking a deep freeze, like well below 0 Fahrenheit?
-
No, fridge.
-
Like I said; they looked ok and I couldn’t smell them. Originally cooked them for the dog to chew on but they looked good so I had some myself lol
-
It was going to toss them out of the freezer but put them in the fridge to thaw thinking I might serve them to the dog. Meant to cook them immediately but they sat there a week.
-
Would be sad if you really departed Tempo. Not if you fake died like Jobu did.
-
Didn’t you used to manage a restaurant?

A good point.

Should be fine

Yes, if you need to know the food hierarchy I can go over that with you.

Don’t go tugging at my heart strings now!

I’m sure it’s fine. I just don’t trust my nose as I don’t have the best sense of smell. Can’t imagine I wouldn’t smell bad lamb though. Just can’t believe it sat in the fridge a good week and didn’t smell.

I’d say typically toss it after 3-4 days.
-
3-5.

3-5.
Can always count on this "meme" even in the darkest of days.
-
They would have still been frozen for 2-3 days after taking from the freezer, and for the next 3-5 days they’d still be under the danger zone (40) assuming your fridge works correctly. So nothing really to worry about there.
If you’d brought them home fresh and then kept them in the fridge for a week I’d be a little more concerned. But even then (assuming they were cooked to proper temp before eating) you have nothing to worry about.
Why is this its own thread?

Tempo's food health issues each deserve their own thread.

3-5.
Yeah I blew it there.

Trying to liven up the deuce. It’s been dead lately. Actually. IDK. Fair point.
