Probably left off a few things.
-
Posters who don't play well with others and have been banned virtually everywhere else.

Posters who have been part of the problem for a long time and who have been given a pass.
-
For me, all incoming transfers rock (until they don’t) edges out the rise and fall of sock puppets.
-
I voted for the first one, considering that poster is still actively defending that approach.
-
I voted for sock puppets. It takes a dedicated poster to come up with multiple alts while not even needing one since their original one has never been banned.

Another great thing about this site is the "karma" counter
I still am confused how I have -65,000 karma, and yet less than 1,000 posts.
-
This is a tough one.
Dom does not understand how Karma votes are tabulated?

No. I don't see any up votes or down vote function on any posts. I cant imagine any every post that I make (which is less than 1,000 total) being negative voted 65,000 times. That would average to 65 downvotes per post, and there are at most 10 people that actively use this site.

I don't even remember because I can't see that on my phone.
I used to use my computer. I had lots of positive karma. Then someone identified me as nichi, whoever that is.
Anyway, for truth, I think karma is updated each time someone votes. He might ask 4 military police. He is very preceptive at pointing out the obvious.

Are your "applaud"and "smite" buttons missing?

I think Tempo votes early and often on posts.

Not Tempo, but I am pretty sure a certain poster used to log in just downvote my stuff.

Don't lose any sleep over it. You're still behind me in downvotes.

To have over 65,000 downvotes and not even 1 single upvote is a record that will never be broken. I’m on a record heater.

Congratulations.

Holy shit that’s funny. He’s not even exaggerating.

this site was actually better under the Weber years

Examples? I do recall people thinking Joe Bertrand was the next Oscar Robertson, but only because someone posted about Bertrand recently.

Just people actually talked about the game, stayed on topic. Wasn't nothing but arguing

Sensible people argued that no, Joe Bertrand was not the next Oscar Robertson.

People try to come up with player comparisons in terms of style. We heard Joe Bertrand was 6-6 and supposedly a point guard. I recall someone suggested he might be another Bardo.
I recall Bertrand was an athlete and he was very erratic, not like Bardo at all.
The Big O was a tall point guard before there were tall point guards. He was like Byrd. Good, not a great athlete. Very skilled, very consistent, fundamentally sound. Uncanny court vision. Not a good comparison even if Bertrand had been a point guard; which he really was not.
But I'd guess someone was saying a Big O type tall point guard, not the next NBA super star. That is the only thing makes sense.

Currently watching uc santa Clara vs st Mary's and let me just say that the level of competition in the wcc is a massive and I mean massive step down from the big ten, bitchbum with a terrible take as usual

Sounds like a league Ty Rodgers or Skyy Clark belong in.

One of the outgoing transfers went to the WCC. Of course, the current team would be galactically better if he had just stayed.
-
BTW, the two categories with no votes are the most popular cult beliefs here: One of our absent posters is an encyclopedia, and all outgoing transfers are huge losses.

That strikes me as more of a Dom thing, although lots of TOS posters want Podz back. Thing is, he averages more shots per game for Santa Clara than Shannon does for Illinois. That said, given Goode's injury, Podz might've gotten some tick. But he would not be taking 14 shots per game.

Cool. Again, it's not the year 2000. Players can transfer, which sometimes keeps the bench from being 10 players deep. That's why it's silly to rend clothing about every outgoing transfer.
