Can’t believe Justin Fields let the Falcons drive down the field like that.

That was pretty play design. Good stuff by Getsy there.

Good throw by JF1 too, of course.

So they traded a high pick for Chase Claypool so they could just forget about him?

So they traded a high pick for Chase Claypool so they could just forget about him?

Maybe. A high 2nd was way too much. You should have stuck to your original thought. Parkins liked the trade tho.

Yeah. Well, they shouldn’t have paid it. A high 2nd is too much for a decoy.
Title: Re: Bears/Falcons

Anyway, looking like they’re trying to get JF throwing from the pocket a bit. Which is good; actually. He needs that experience.

Yeah. Well, they shouldn’t have paid it. A high 2nd is too much for a decoy.

With a weak free agent class, and so many other needs (I’d rather go DL with high first round pick), you can make the case for the trade. Why he’s not playing is a fucking mystery.

It couldn't be that Fields is running on the passing plays (in part because he has to since they don't move the pocket much).

I can’t believe Getsy called another designed run after Fields was slow to get up. Dumbest fucking call I’ve ever seen. Worse than the QB sneak out of shotgun.

Yes, would have been better to have the interception on 2d down instead of 3rd.

Yeah, they were also using the massager thing. Which tell me cramps. They wouldn’t put that on an injured hamstring.

The defender had his arm up so Fields probably had to elevate the throw a little. Catchable but not a good pass. The play-calling to get them to that point was a jailable offense.

I'm finding that there are a few people like Tempo who are really, really invested in everyone agreeing that Justin Fields is an NFL QB or going to be one.

I guess you could say that I'm the flip side to that, but I started out as just thinking the guy needs a shit ton of work to be one and history is not filled with guys who needed a shit ton of work and wound up being a successful QB during their first contract (when you really need them to succeed). Think he still needs a shit ton of work. Hope he gets better as he is the QB for 3 more years.
