Haven't seen him play, but sounds like he is still the same player; catch and shoot, undersized 2-guard and ace defender. If he stayed and was healthy, no Plummer last year, he plays that role and we are overall better. So we likely don't get Shannon this year? Hard to tell how he affects the recruitment of Clark. I doubt it does, he replaced Curbelo.
Assuming we don't get Shannon, Miller starts at the 2-guard and plays 25 + mph.

My ex father-in-law is a prominent judge where I’m at and I have hung around him and all his courthouse friends. Other judges, lawyers, prosecutors, bailiffs, secretaries, etc… and they’re some of the most morally fucked up people I’ve ever met when it comes to infidelity and doing the same shit they lock others up for. Their wives never leave because of the money and they don’t have to do shit. The marriages are just a sham and parade to the public but they’re miserable. They know they’re out cheating and fight constantly. Other judges paying off people who see them fucking other women in bathrooms in a bar and shit. It’s disgusting these people are the ones judging others.

They improved, by a lot. Not long ago, I said they were crap. But Boo Buie has been coming to play, and they stopped shooting 30 percent from the field.
IIRC, in the Auburn game, they held the opponent below 33 percent shooting, but then they clanged most of their own shots. With even a lick of offense, they would have won.
Also, Auburn sucks and cheats, and it was good to see USC beat them yesterday.

Then bought KC at $5. It had been 76. It goes all the way down to 1.77. I’m still in it. If it gets back to where it was I’ll be comfortable making a good living. But till it does I make ends meet with Uber and spreading the word of God. I have Christian music playing when I make pickups so that’s my calling. I have finance degree I don’t do anything with. I do not have the finances to marry anyone. I ruined my own finances making bad trades and now I just have to sit on it and wait for it to recover.
Most reasonable people put their IRAs into index funds. I didn’t. I dumped it all into a few stocks with the intent of turning a few hundred thousands into millions. Then was going to trade on that the rest of my life. Instead I got buried. Also used leverage got buried. Sold my home, put the equity into trading, got buried.
But those were the risks I took. Didn’t work out. Went for it and lost.

He can't use his finance degree because he's in hiding from his ex employer who's suing him. But even at that $50 stock price he dreams of (from $3 now, he bought at $5) he thinks he can live the rest of his life on $1mil.

There might be post-game outputs where you can see the "win probability" at every critical point of the game. I generally don't go searching for those.

At the end of the NW-Wisc game, a Badger missed a FT (likely intentionally, unlike Illinois) and then two NW players grabbed the ball at the same time.
For some reason, traveling was not called. Wisc not happy.
Earlier, NW had the ball, and the player moved forward while dribbling. The Wisc player moved into his lane of direction. Apparently the NW player committed the sin of having his arm out and was called for charging. I think even the refs knew it was a horrible call because Collins went ballistic and didn't get a T.

While the Big ten has been fun to watch this year I don't know if phenomenal is the word I would use to describe this conference. Big Ten is NCAA bubble city this year. I could easily see only 7 teams making the dance. Anybody finishing under .500 in conference play is probably not making the dance. They might take one 9-11 team, but anyone finishing 8-12 sure in hell isn't making the dance.
Ohio State is done. Despite being 7-5 in conference Michigan has ZERO room for error with 10 overall losses already. Penn State and Wisconsin are playing their way right out of the tournament. Michigan State and Illinois might be the only 2 teams that could run 9-11 and still make it. Anyone else is toast.

I looked up Clemson. Unlike Illinois, they beat Penn St. but needed two OTs to do it. In their defense, they apparently scheduled tournament games and neutral-site games and ended up playing the likes of Cal. They lost to godawful South Carolina in a rivalry game and then somehow got pantsed by Loyola Chicago.
They play at Louisville tomorrow and need a win badly. After that it's Syracuse, at NC St., at Virginia, and home against the Brokeback of Notre Dame.
My bandwagon team, Miami, is up to a 5. They must have remembered how to play D again because for about 2 weeks there was no evidence they could guard hard.

If I was Michigan State, I’d be doing whatever it takes to get Izzo to retire and bring in Nate Oats. Oats seems like a natural fit for that job given his success, and local ties to the state having been a long time HS coach there.
Kind of reminds me of Illinois back when PJ Fleck was an up and coming coach. They didn’t make the move, then had to sit thru the Lovie years before finally finding a good coach. Izzo is done as a top coach. I don’t see MSU competing for anything as long as he’s there. With Oats I think they’d be a Final 4 contender given the status of MSU and Oats acumen

Just yesterday, you claimed a primary and a default defense are the same thing. You also claimed the team changed defenses because of lack of depth during the season when the injured player was hurt in the preseason. Then you tried to edit your post so that it appeared to be different after you were called out on this.

In the post he referred to I suggested the team might have had the depth to play pressure defense before injuries and defections.
However, they never went with pressure as the default defense. The primary defense to start the season was a switching man. They later scrapped that, though it remained an option.
While pressure defense was never the default setting this season, it was also still an option they used for stretches to overcome deficits.
I dunno if IVMP is really that stupid, or if his default setting / modus operandi is being obnoxious.

I wonder where IVMP gets stuff like this? Is he drawing on some perverse ageist stereotype? Is Sanka (ugh!) somehow associated with cartoon seasoned citizens? Was IVMP abused by his grandfather?
Personally, I'd rather drink water. I never saw the point of decaffeinated coffee. That would be like smoking industrial hemp. I drink coffee for the caffeine. Hills Brothers is my default brand. Period.

Yeah, I did expand my response to the "switching" thing once it was apparent that Nichi was too stupid to let it go, and then you came along. You also clearly didn't read the part I wrote when I mentioned that URL. It isn't just about players getting tired. It's about having a variety of personnel who can execute the switches, but morons like you and Nichi don't get it.
Anyway, given the context here, it's clearly time to (1) put you on ignore and (2) intensity the other responses. Has to happen, just on principle.
