With Trevor Lawrence’s regression after a brief period of looking good. It’s fair to say Fields is playing the best out of the 2021 QB class right now.

I'll repeat my question here: 150+ yards passing in a 20 point loss? How did that happen? Great QB rating but does not sound like they were flinging the ball around trying to get back into the game (especially with another 200+ rushing game).

You obviously missed the beautifully thrown touchdown drops. Including a 50 yarder to Velus Jones.

The fact that you are completely dismissing two very good starts in a row and 3 really good games in 4 for Justin Fields tells me you have no interest in being fair about this. By the way, he attempted 23 passes. You expect 400 yards on that?
Trent Dilfer was just on the Score and said he wants the Bears’ coaching staff to take the handcuffs off of Fields.

I just asked a question. They ran for over 200 yards and got blown out in the 2d half. I would expect 23 passes in the 2d half given how things went. Hopefully they do turn him loose when they are getting drilled and he can bring them back.

Sounds like your issue should be with Getsy and Eberflus then. One thing is for sure. Justin Fields has been the best player on the Bears for the last month.

Again, idiotic to be hung up on an artificial number to say “ok, he played well.” I’ve seen lots of QBs throw for 300 yards that didn’t particularly play well.

It is not idiotic in a 20 point loss to wonder why they ran for over 200 yards and only passed for 150. Sometimes you have to just flat out outscore the other team.
