Who will be the best player in the big ten next yr?
I'm going with Hunter Dickinson.
-
Zach Edey would probably be right there as well.
-
Interesting question.
BT going to be a lot of retooling unknowns other than Michigan and maybe MSU.
-
Pete Nance could push to the top of this list if he comes back.

He is a solid and versatile college player, for sure. I don't think he has the overall skills or athleticism to be that type of dominant player.
He is like a B- version of Murray.
I am not that crazy about Hunter Dickinson either, really.
Solid college player. Slow and a head case.
Edey, slow and mechanical, but effective in the post obviously.
Another head case.
BT is not going to be very good.
If Michigan pulls it together they could dominate.

I can see Michigan and Illinois dominating the B1G in the near and foreseeable future. Indiana has a good shot of joining them. Nebraska could be the/a surprise team and via for a B1G title next season imo.
So many unknowns as far as players to pick a B1G POTY, but a proven commodity is Dickinson as the obvious choice.

Agree we will be in the upper division mix as long as we keep bringing in talent at a similar recent level via recruiting and transfers.
Dmbfcknic says we are going 14-18 next year though. So there is that.

Hopefully its Coleman Hawkins
-
Maybe the other Murray will return and have a breakout season. He turned down an invitation to the combine. That could mean a couple different things.
-
Kofi
-
Trayce Jackson-Davis/Edey as far as bigs.
Nance (assuming he comes back) and Reese as far as forwards
Perkins and (Epps) darkhorse here as far as guards.
Overall-Trayce Jackson Davis would be my guess.
-
I completely forgot about Trey.
-
He will go pro if he gets + feedback.
Usable bench guy in NBA.

Seems TJD will be coming back. Considering Xavier Johnson, Race Thompson and Jalen Hood-Schifino will be along side him, Indiana should be good next year.

Then he is the man.
