That was certainly very wrenching but I'd have to put just behind that loss to scUM in the semis on that last put back shot.  I didn't see that coming....

At home vs Indiana when pancake face banked in that 3 pointer, and we eventually lose in double OT.  That sucked.  Not the worst, but that one was pretty memorable.

The loss in 89 was the worst.

another one: The loss to PSU when McBride's shot was too late.

I almost said that. That was pretty much the moment I knew we were completely fucked. I tried buying into the idea that the shitty recruiting was actually just Bruce getting guys he could coach up but after that I knew our “are we elite?” talk was over indefinitely.

What I thought of too aside from the championship game.

The Arizona E8 game with Luke Walton and his dad announcing was pretty brutal.

Obviously the title game and final 4 game were the worst. If we are talking a regular game then I would say the 80 to 57 loss to Nebraska with Meyers crying on the bench was pretty bad.

I was in what even South Dakotans call the middle of nowhere back in 2010. We went into town for dinner and I finally had some service. Checked the score of the Illini/UIC game when I went to the restroom and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I thought it was a typo or something so I tried to click on the game notes but they wouldn’t load. A day or later I got back to civilization and learned the ugly truth. That loss against IU when they were playing a bunch of nobodies and won like 9 games that year was brutal too.

Matt fucking Sylvester

This was mine as well surprised more people don't call it out.

Sean Higgins pissed me off too and I was only 7 when that happened.  89 team was best we've ever had and I don't think its even particularly close either.

The '89 Fucking scUM FF loss was worse than the 2005 championship game, because we had already beaten them twice.  That was a gut punch.

I never really felt comfortable that we could beat Carolina, so it wasn't such a surprise.
