As the AgressiveSon has said when watching games where ladies are providing color commentary, "How do they know what it is like? This team has the whiniest fan base this side of Lincoln, Nebraska. I get it -- injuries, La Russa didn't work out, etc.
That being said, it would be entertaining if they made a late run now that La Russa apparently is done. But then we would have to hear more whining when they reach the inevitable impasse.
Another entertaining outcome would be if they somehow made the playoffs and then got hot. Can you imagine the rage in New York if the Yankees get bounced early?

I think his legs are completely shot. Has he been thrown out from the outfield on what would normally be a hit? If not, then it should have/could have happened.
