I do love me some wild pig meat and if you ever end up in Plano TX at a restaurant called "Love and War in Texas" you gotta try the wild boar quesadillas. I believe they buy and cook wild pig meat harvested in this manner and it is SOOOOOOOO good. Wild pig meat is like a whole other kind of pork lol
Re beef short ribs at Lockhart Smokehouse in Plano ....
. But I have tried lockharts and those were pretty good.
A couple other reviewers also had good things to say.
In Plano, Ten-50 BBQ is good, west of Frisco, Prairie House is pretty good too...
I say, get some brisket.

Additionally in Frisco there is a Rudy's which produces brisket I enjoy eating and great ribs. With the exception of their sausage everything else I've tried has been really good as well. Their sausage is absolute garbage and I don't know how anyone would ask for it again unless they forgot. Rudy's also has my favorite BBQ sauce that blows all others away IMO. I seriously buy like 5 liters at a time for a pretty penny for each but it is AMAZING!"

Cooper’s BBQ in Ft Worth. Cooper’s BBQ is life changing BBQ. The epitome of what people mean when they talk about Texas BBQ. Try to go if you can. I sometimes mail order their stuff. Even frozen then shipped 1000 miles and then reheated it’s seriously better than most made to order BBQ I can find in the Midwest. Family owned too.
