Let’s get this party started early.
27-24 Bengals my belief in this defense is about shot.
-
The smartest move the Bears could make this Sunday is making sure that Andy Dalton “pulls a hamstring” in pre-game warmups.
-
This is the ginger warrior’s big revenge game!
He already beat them last year.
-
He already beat them last year.
Way to fuck up the narrative.
-
But now he’s gonna do it again! And show them they’d rather have the Red Rifle than Joe Burrow; or something like that.

Cheering for a white ginger guy? Ugh cringe! Hello? Its 2021 bigots!

They’d cheer for an albino from Montana if he was better at QB.
-
I get the shits from watching Andy Dalton play quarterback.
-
I’m going to predict today is the day Justin Fields replaces Andy Dalton for good.

Definitely not riding the fence with that hot take.

“Riding the fence” makes you highly controversial and labeled perpetually “wrong.” Even though you are right more than you are wrong.
-
The most Bearesque thing that could happen is for Dalton to have a great revenge game against the Bengals and extend the QB controversy indefinitely into the meat grinder portion of the schedule.

I’d be surprised if Dalton has a “great game” at any point for the Bears. I think the Rams game was near his ceiling.
-
That’s probably the best Andy Dalton drive in 2-3 years. Still don’t expect it to last. This game has shootout potential.
-
Such an undisciplined bullshit taunting call on the Bears to extend the drive. Wtf
-
Quinn actually did a thing.
-
Quinn actually did a thing.
Got his 1 sack for the year. Overpaid 🤡
-
Sucks that got wiped out. That was a sick move by Montgomery
-
I’ve seen taunting called three times already today.
-
Flag fest
-
Dalton hurt. Fields time.

Whether injury, or Dalton playing poorly I felt Fields playing today was inevitable.

I’m sure u did.

I’m sure u did.
Did you see the post from hours ago where I said Fields takes the job today?

Yes, but now that he’s hurt it changes the narrative. He hadn’t been in until then except maybe one play. So no way to actually prove you right or wrong.
-
The Bears being interesting is taking away from my Red Zone time.

Fuck off, pansie. JFC
-
And he was actually in multiple plays. At least 5.
-
Dalton back anyway, surprisingly.
-
Guess who is back in….
-
nice blocking lol
god football is so boring just turned it on and I'm like zzzzz already
-
Dalton is actually playing pretty fuckin well, guys.
For now.
-
As good as Dalton has looked, we’re still on the verge of going into halftime with 7 points against the Bengals at home.
-
Damn, Quinn having the game of his life lol
-
What an enormous ceiling we have with Andy Dalton!
-
I just said he was playing well. I’m sorry. Won’t happen again.
And I concurred. Which is why Fields has to play. The ceiling of the offense is severely limited by Dalton
-
What an enormous ceiling we have with Andy Dalton!
Who the fuck said that?! I think we all wanna see Fields
-
Mistakes are going to happen in the NFL. That’s why you play explosive players. Trying to “not mistake” your way to victory with a less than dominant defense is a recipe for failure.
Having said that, the defense looks better today.
-
The day I finally play CMC in DFS he struggles to get into the end zone.
-
Nice toss!
-
Fields gotta get rid of that quicker.
-
Why have replay if they’re not going to overturn anything?
I flipped to Red Zone, what happened?
-
I really could have used that Bryan Edwards TD that was called back. He’s and Freirmuth are my dart throws in the millionaire maker. The rest of my lineup is stellar.
-
Goodwin made a nice catch, but on replay he only had 1 foot down. They let it stand.
Good for the Bears, but replay is a joke if they’re not going to overturn stuff like that.
Yeah clearly not a catch
-
So was Dalton out again at the half?
-
So was Dalton out again at the half?
Yeah. Questionable
-
Theres no flopping in football!
-
Gotta catch that Mooney.
-
Eddie Jackson came to play
-
What the hell Fields
-
That's what I'm talking about! Nice throw!
-
Bears looking good all around now.
-
Bears looking good all around now.
Imagine that. Minus the motion penalties. Fields has thrown some really nice downfield passes.
-

Agreed. Just can’t have those 2 motion penalties and fumble.
Don’t think anybody on here is saying we wouldn’t be better with Fields in. The only dumbass thinking that is on the Bears sideline unfortunately lol

I’m all for letting him work the kinks out sooner rather than later.
Don’t like the fact that this is still a 7 point game despite the Bears “dominating.”
-
Probably Mack’s best game since Tampa last year.
-
Roquan is a stud.
-
That was a proper interception return, nice blocking by #22 and #44
-
Roquan!!!!! Pay this man his money now!
-
Pick 6!
-
When’s the last time we saw a defensive effort like this from the Bears?
-

Yeah, no reason they shouldn’t play like this all the time. The D is filled with tons of talent honestly. At least on paper.
-
Damn! JJ with the pick as well!
-
The Bears D playing like 2018 again!
-
Woof. Joe Burrow trying to force shit now.
I really like Jaylon Johnson.
Yeah he’s a stud. Will be All-Pro sooner than later.
-
Perfectly thrown deep ball dropped by ARob.
-
The INT was a rookie mistake, but I suspect Fields did enough things to keep the job today. Would be surprised if he doesn’t start next week.
Just like the board to go down when it did. Lol
-
I stepped out and missed the Fields INT. Sounds like it was pretty brutal.
Bears D was much better this week.
-
Yeah how fitting the board goes down when it did lol.
Fields should start from here on out.
Great showing by the defense, but we just about gave that game away. Should’ve been an easy win.
-

Saw the INT now and it was bad no doubt about it. He made some throws his receivers should have caught though.
All in all, this wasn't like the last guy overthrowing receivers by 10+ yards. A lot of easily correctable mistakes.
-

Crossing pattern, threw it right at the guy; you can tell he never saw him, it happens. Let Fields play and learn. This team isn’t winning any playoff games (unless what we saw out of the defense wasn’t a one-off). Our lack of quality secondary play and depth will probably be the Achilles heel of this team.
-
I thought the Bear would get smoked. I was Behind the Curve on this one. Extend Nagy now.

Totally agree on Fields. He has a sky-high ceiling and nothing I saw today made me think he couldn't be coached out of little mistakes.
Defense came to play today, nice to see after the disappointing week 1.

He’s gonna fuckin start Dalton, isn’t he?
What did you expect to hear ?
'Some guy named Tempo says Fields should be the starter going forward. So that's what we're going to do.'
-

That wouldn't be shocking at all coming from Nagy

There’s a fuck ton of people who say that, not just me. I’ll bet a lot of people in the locker room agree with that sentiment.
I think Nagy’s non-commitment to Dalton bodes well for Fields starting.
-

Huh?
-
Guys the defense was playing the fucking Cincinnati Bengals let’s not start jerking each other off just yet
-
Can we start sucking each other’s dicks?
I thought we already were?
-
They’re the straws that stir the drink around here.
