I can’t believe no small number of Sox fans are shitting on this game. When are the Sox ever the center of the MLB universe? This is cool.
-
Place looks nice.
Took the family there a few years ago, before they built it all up. Played catch with my son in the outfield. It was cool.
Very cool.
-
That home run pitch to Judge was a big slice of cheese.
-
Lynn needs to be pulled.
-
Wonder where the bullpen is, maybe outside the ballpark?
-
Brilliant inning from Kopech. Can’t wait to see what he does the next few years. Surprised no one is posting about this game.
-
Can't get a post in edgewise with all your posts.
-
May as well let the robots ump since most of these guys suck cock.
-
This is great.
-
Why in the fucking fuck did they leave Hendriks in when he clearly doesn’t have it?
-
Jobu is going to have a field day with this comment but I halfway saw that coming. Ball was carrying well to right and that’s where Tim has power. Great game, great finish!

That was basically a fat pitch for Anderson.
-
That is what happens when the ump is only calling half the plate.
-
I only saw the last 4 innings but man they hosed the Sox on a lot of strikes

I don't like to be the Ump is Fucking Us Guy, but the ump was fucking the Sox tonight.
-
Oh wow I didn't even see this thread lol.
Tim Anderson is my fucking shortstop now and forever.
-
Yep. Definitely seemed like there were 2 different strike zones.
There were a couple that Kimbrel hit the corner with that were egregious. If that breaking ball wasn’t so awesome, he would have given up home runs too.
The pitch from Kopech that was called a ball which caught the entire fucking plate was a fucking joke. Angel Hernandez wouldn't have even called that a ball. I thought Kopech was going to lose his shit and get tossed. He would have been justified for it.
-
Good thing that Sicilian hot head LaRussa wasn't around tonight.
-
Tempo needs to make a new thread for each Sox game.

That one Kopech lost his mind over was brutal. It was almost right over the middle.
-

Glad he wasn’t.

Yep. And secondly, I’ve watched an awful lot of White Sox baseball this year and that’s the worst I’ve seen Hendriks. He was straight up terrible tonight.
-
TA will get the hero's praise as he should but let's also shout out Seby Zavala for working a walk after being down 0-2 in the count. He's cemented himself as Grandal's back up at this point.

You know I have to ask....did you have a feeling he was going to give up a dinger (that's D-I-N-G-E-R) to Stanton?
-
That was pretty awesome.

Agreed. When I saw Mendick and Sevala walking to the plate in the 9th, I thought we were f*cked. Apparently acquiring a right-handed pinch hitter at the deadline might have been a good move.

And why didn't Cairo run for him there? TA hits one in the gap you need someone who can run. Lamb and Collins were the hitters still on the bench.

Good point. I forgot Lamb was still on the team…

He can strike out hitters like nobody's business but he also gives up a fuck ton of homers.

Si, wey.

Tim Anderson was the 15th White Sox player to hit a walk-off HR against the Yankees. The first: Shoeless Joe Jackson, July 20 1919. Baseball is so goddamned poetic sometimes.

That’s exactly what I expected to happen. He couldn’t hit his spots so he had to throw a strike in that situation and everyone watching should have known it.

A lot of posters vying for the HQ2 Tempo AOTC Award. Q97 better step up his game if he wants to keep his sig.

I don't even remember what I predicted to win it lol
must have been really important

A guy I know won a 7 bet parlay on the TA home run. It covered his last two bets. $25 to $915 how awesome would that be?
-
Sounds like it's time for him to get some hookers and blow.
Not sure the quality of either for $915, but I'm not an expert on those subjects. Tho, I am willing to learn.

Chicago was the top market for Thursday’s game with a whopping 11.2 rating and 25 share, meaning that 25% of televisions in use in the nation’s #3 market were tuned to the game in the average minute. New York City ranked second at a 6.6/14, followed by St. Louis (6.0/13), Kansas City and Hartford (both 5.6/12).
-
Most watched regular season game in 16 years. FOD was a big ratings success.
