And Thad Matta as associate AD.
Still don’t have to worry about IU hoops returning to glory anytime soon LOL.
-
Who?
-
He used to play there. 6'5 or so. Had a good career.
-
That hiring will likely be received about as well drunkard at a teetotaler convention.

IU liked our Lovie Smith experience so much it appears they’re going to give it a try as well.
-
I'd like to know how much interest they had from any other option.
I'd wager a lot of money on "little."
-
Dan Dakich probably called like 40 times
-
Basing this on nothing but intuition, but I thought there was a very good chance Beilein would end up there.

He is almost as old as me. Would have been a McDonald's All American, but he was class of 1976. What I recall is Woodson had a deadly midrange jump shot coming off screens.

I'm astounded that it failed. Everyone knows your intuition to be reliable.

It’s not bad.

Geez, thanks. It's been that long ?
I am older than him. Agree, he had a nice midrange jump shot, and a better athlete than a lot of players. And Wiki lists him at 6'5.
-
I saw Woodson light up the Illini for 40 something points at the Assembly Hall back in the 70's. I may have been 7 or 8?
That's a hire that I was not expecting. I hope he sucks like Miller.

I guess the Brad Stevens rumors were not accurate.

In case anyone here is from Humboldt, that was high school class of 76.

It just goes to show you how undesirable the Indiana job has become and how far they have fallen.

It's a career-killing job.
You hate to see it.

That and they have to compete with him already having f-you money and one of the top 5 jobs in basketball.
