As usual, big-time Illini success tastes sweet but is ultimately fleeting.

It will be interesting to see how Underwood bounces back from this. If he’s gets next years’ team in the Sweet 16 or better and gets another high profile recruit or two we should see smooth waters ahead. If next years’ team doesn’t meet or surpass realistic goals and there is only modest recruiting success, it might be time to panic.

We would’ve lost by 50 if he was coaching.

But again a lot of the “travel” folks are delusional mom and pops coaches living the armchair QB dream.

If he gave a crap about U of I we wouldn’t have sucked balls for the last 15 years instead of playing a financial politician.
