For our sake and his own I hope he does.
He needs one more year of conditioning and stamina and go top 5 next year instead of whatever it is and I haven’t paid attention to it. Borderline lottery? Late first round don’t know.
What I do know is he can’t go more than 5 minutes without sucking wind. He comes back next year we’re fine. If not we’re pretty much done no matter how it’s sugar coated.

He is in no mock draft 1st rounds. A few second rounds.
He cannot guard in space out on floor, pass out of doubles, or shoot from beyond three feet.
He is dominant physical presence at this level and hard worker and seems like great kid.
Somebody might take a flyer on him in second round.
He is better off going G league or end of NBA bench and working full time on his gaps. 30 college games and practicing vs Georgi and Lieb is not going to do much to develop him.
He develops a 15 footer, improves passing, and footwork on D he can play a little in league.
He will never be a lottery pick so he should leave now unless he really enjoys his experience here.

Whoa. I have no idea what you watched, but conditioning waz not a problem. Kofi was consistently beating his man in transition.
I don't think he'll ever be a stretch big. Nor will he be good at defending in space. He is sort of an old school low post big, but he is not a plodder. He can run the court. While he will struggle to guard stretch 5s; they will struggle to guard him too.
If he would have passed the ball out of the double and triple teams and averaged a couple assists per game; he'd be a late first round pick this year.

Agreed. His conditioning for a 7ft 300lbs human is unbelievable. That is not a problem at all. He needs to work on his passing out of the post and develop a 10-15 foot shot and he has a shot at being a late first-round pick. I think he should definitely come back for one more year.
I wonder about bigs like Kofi though. I’m watching Last Chance U and realize players that are much bigger get really upset at not getting calls and beat up on because they’re bigger than everybody else. Eventually they get so sick of it the wanna quit. BUT DAMN the Joe Hampton kid who used to play at Penn State is a mess! Dude needs to get his shit together because he’s a stud. Just quit whining and quitting every day. I can’t imagine going from where he was to where he is now. I do have some empathy for him. That’s gotta be tough to see everything go up in flames. Only on episode 4, so don’t know how it turns out for him. Anxious to see.

I know what I saw. Saw it several times Loyola pushed it up the court. Kofi was still at half court.
