When the Big10 decided percentage would be the determining factor, Michigan missed out on at PSU and home to Indiana and Northwestern. I counted those as 3-0, so no big deal with percentage. But that was before they lost a couple, including a beat down at home to the team that is up 1/2 game in the win-loss column.

The entire thing is a huge sore spot with me. We won the most conference games, and we played the entire schedule. Michigan ducked those three games, no question about it. And you damn well know that Michigan worked it out with Warren ahead of time before they did, and just kept it in the dark until they were pushed to make a clarification.
The timing of the announcement right before the UI/Michigan game was bush league. it was nothing more than a declaration, with no explanation. The fans and the league deserve more than that. Piss poor communication and leadership.
When you look at how he handled Football, Warren is no doubt the most inept commissioner in recent history.

The refs certainly had the marching orders to get them into tourney. I wanted them to beat Michigan because I wanted more controversy around the title but I thought they got plenty of help yesterday. They hit a lot of shots though so give them credit. The foul calls didn’t have much disparity but it seemed like the big ones really favored MSU.

The Illini and OSU games were a total joke. That said- MSU is probably playing better than the rest of the lower division train wreck teams that the BIG is getting in like Rutgers, Wisconsin and MD.
None of them should be in during a normal year.
Wisconsin is 0-8 vs top 5 teams in BIG and did not beat a Top 25 Power 5 team all year.

Its a pretty good statement. I think a legal appeal might be in order. Shine a light on them nationally.
This season has been filled with challenges, none of our own making. After sitting without games for periods of ten days and six days, we were presented our revised schedule for the end of the season. Four games in eight days. Multiple one-day turnarounds. Five of our last six games on the road. A final stretch of three games, all away from State Farm Center and all against Top 25 opponents. To add injury to insult, we then watched our best player – the best player in the country, mind you – suffer a broken nose and concussion that sidelined him for three games.
We are now faced with unlikely task to beat an NCAA 9 seed, NCAA 2 seed, and a NCAA 1 seed in 72 hours to win the BTT and claim that crown.

Actually it's quite amusing and sometimes therapeutic reading posts by Michigan fans on MGoBlow, especially during football season. I was unaware that Michigan was the best (and unluckiest) football team in the conference since Harbaugh took over until I checked out that site. Learn something new every day. ::)
Like I've said in other posts on this forum, Illinois is playing for something much bigger than a regular season conference title.
