Simple game plan....keep Mills (leading scorer last 4-5 games) and Coit in check, we win by more than the 89-70 earlier in the year. Both guys are low-mid 30% 3 pt shooters, no one else can hurt us AS LONG as we play defense. Zone today would not be a bad thing either imo, has the Twerps leading rebounder is Sanders @ 4.5 per game.
Andrej went off for 30 last time, and he his rounding back into an aggressive driver, wants to flush at least one every game and seems to want to really show Brad what kind of defense he can play. I would suspect he will be around 18-20 for us today.
Mirk gets another double/double 14-11
Tomi makes 3-4 3's today and gets us around 15
Wagler will get his 18-22
Boswell will play his defense and get around 10
Davis and Humrichous for about combined 18

I decided to take a nap instead of watch the first half. Wake up early in second half and it’s tied. wtf. Thank god we avoided a dreadful loss there but not sure we deserved it. Maryland looked like they were playing for a tournament bid to Buzz Williams’ credit

Well the pre-game prediction didn't pan out, but at least it's a win....even if we did try to crap ourselves in this one.
We did not keep Mills in check 30 pts, we did not play good 3pt defense, we shot 24 3's while hitting 21% of them????
Mirk got his double double, really thinking we need him back the most next year....he may not be athletic, or have a "pretty" game at all times, but damn he gets the job done more often than not.....he needs to not hang on rims at the end of games....that could have gotten us a tech, think Coach told him the same thing too.
Andrej didn't play enough to get 30, Wagler struggled (kid might be getting worn down-needs that triple bye for sure), Tomi is well "lost" in this offense and he is not shooting well right now nor has he for awhile.
Jake and Ben got there 14, I really think if we can get 14-20 from these 2 the rest of the way, we can play with anyone and have some success. The starters are what they are for the most part......really need Tomi/Boswell and Andrej though for the B1G tourney play and beyond.

No kidding. Wisconsin or UCLA as our worst loss is better than either the Ayo 1 seed team or the Elite Eight team two years ago.

Blowing a 23 point lead then losing in overtime via matador defense will always be a bad loss in my book. Especially when it costs us a 2nd round game vs Michigan in the BTT

This. MD played one of their best games of the season. We had a piss poor shooting performance. Still never trailed in the 2nd half.

Well at least 2 of the guys did....Adams/Mills IF Buzz can hold on to them will be formidable for as long as they are there.
