ILLINI -6.5 over/under @ 146.5
Illini win this one 91 - 68, Illini show once again with 6 players in double figures that their offense will wreck havoc.
UCLA has Daily and Bilodeau along with Dent. Dent however recently he has been back sliding in the pts column. We need to keep it that way tonight.
Daily could do some damage defensively with his size, however he is not a good rebounder, in fact the whole team is not. Bilodeau got 10-6 vs Fichigan, I would suspect he will be/and should be the focus tonight, same results?
Sky is good at calling meetings, up and down on 3pt%, I would suspect that Cronin gives him a longer leash....somethin like it's your old team, do some damage, until he finds out it won't work.....then it will too late.
Mirk or Andrej with of course Wagler all near 18 per, the Ivisic brothers should be another 18 with about 8 boards, and 3 blocks. Humrichous and Davis get the rest and the team will play some matchup zone, due to the Bruins horrid 3pt % and lack of rebounding capability.

Think it will be a lot closer than Wednesday but we still get the W.
-
Just win. Don't get caught looking ahead to the Michigan game.
-
I sent my best men to get us the win

Flagrant 1
-
5/8 from deep so far
-
The 3 best venues gotta be MSG, the Palestra and Pauley.
We're at all 3 this year.
-
Ben is on fucking fire!
-
Oh no Wagler..please be ok.
-
UCLA 10 straight made FGs. Defense really going to shit here.
-
Probably the worst 10 minutes of basketball we've played all year.
-
Up 20 and thought we'd win by 40. Started missing the 3's and didn't play any defense
-
What a horrible end to the half
-
Not a bad place to watch it on YouTube TV app at least

We're just letting them shoot wide open 3's and we can't buy 1

Whoever Tomi is guarding is torching us from deep cause he can't guard the perimeter.
-
UCLA is 17 for their last 19 in made FGs. Fucking insane.
-
The old it's hard to get the moxie back when you let it get away kind of game.
-
We could maybe try a zone, but it helps if you make a bucket 1st
-
Well we’ve got a tie game fellas…
-
Boswell and Wagler are our leading rebounders with 6 and 5
-
Yeah I'm starting to think we don't want to win this game.
-
I told MsMn "we haven't done anything difft. She said ........
That's coaching, isn't it ? 😁
-
Jeez. It's like a full court drive for the winner never happens.
-
Jesus Tapdancing Christ.
-
I don't think the Illini will win TOTTMs again this year.
-
Even Pete Hegseth would have had a better defense there
-
Lucky to have Underachiever! 1
-
WTF was that
-
We learned nothing from Tennessee last year. 4 seconds left and we roll out the red carpet all the way to the rim for the game winner. And worse, Brad actually called a timeout and we still allowed it to happen.
Inexcusable loss.

She is smarter than 99% of the posters here that fluff Underachiever
-
No defense since 33-10....last play was ridiculous to say the least....our ILLINI shit the bed on this night. Gave away way too much to a inferior team all the way around.
-
5-29 from 3 after starting 8-12.
-

She says thanx ;D
-
0-3 in OT this year
-
Underwood will most likely be here until he retires. Might as well get used to it.

Get used to being outcoached and disappointed at end of games like when Lou Henson was head coach

Fire Brad and hire the Miami Ohio coach!

Have been watching on and off this year. A lot of options on offense.
One of better offensive teams in country without question with the development of Wagler. Credit to staff and players.
Unfortunately we can't stop dribble penetration very well and as we all know March is a guard tourney.
I think we are pretty vulnerable to teams with scoring creating lead and wing guards.
We kind of knew this might be an issue loading up with Euro skill guys.
Will need to shoot the three consistently well and guard on ball better to go deep.
There are a lot of guys like Dent out there.
Kind of reminds me of Iowa's high scoring teams in recent years. It is tough to rely too much on outscoring people.
And yeah, Underwood is doing Underwood things.
-
There are some on other sites, actually bringing the refs into this....that cannot be cried about this game. WE lost this game, no one won it or made calls to make a difference.
I mean 23 point lead and THIS......no excuse, no reason, no lessons to be learned other than, March is right around the corner, and Fichigan is licking their chops for sure now....Duke loss, and we GAVE this away. WOW
-
23 pt lead on the road.....43-27 rebounding advantage-20/8 on the offensive side.......we shot 29% in the 2nd half and 22% in the overtime.........5 players in double figures and 2 others within 3pts of it being 7 again.
This is a game that CANNOT be lost if you truly want to belong in the Natty conversation...those numbers with a freshman once again leading you in pts/rebs/asst once again.
The ILLINI roared to that lead, relaxed, Mirk got what should have been a flagrant 2 imo, that elbow was intentional and much more of a dirty play than the one that got a kid an apology.
We are 22-6 now, but this somehow feels like a 1st loss.....we were rolling, we were starting to feel like rock stars, like we belonged Top 5, #1 seed. We once again found out not yet.......just not yet.......Fichigan may be rough next week.
-
Do analytics not show how to not blow a 23 point lead?
-
3 loses in two weeks in crunch time, 2 to unranked opponents. Looks like we're destined for a 4-5 seed and get to play scUM or Duke or UConn in the S16.
Not going as I had hoped.
-
Do analytics not show how to not blow a 23 point lead?
ILLINI still giving away personal best/career low's in this case....the 23 pt blown lead was largest comeback/defeat in AP POLL history.....30-runs, unknown scoring career highs, now this record.........dammit, why can't we just have nice things???
-
I have no idea how much time was left but the camera on the 2 Underwood's blank 'we didn't want it anyway' facial expression was telling.
-
Time for some positivity/copium.
In terms of quality of opponent, it's still only a quad 1 road loss to a tournament team (now looking very likely thanks to us) that was desperate reeling from 2 consecutive buttfuckings at the hands of the Michigans. They should be ashamed that it took being down 33-10 on their home floor to finally wake up but better late than never I suppose.
I recall a similar collapse to a shit PSU team 2 years ago, funny enough on the same exact date as last night's choke job, and that team still ended up winning the BTT and reaching the Elite 8. As painful as it was to watch unfold, our season didn't end last night.

I'll have what you're drinking. LFG! Beat scUM!
