Refs are hosing the ILLINI so far.....wait this is a home game, missed the flagrant, missed the goal tend, missed 2 Blackwell drives and forearms to get clear so far.

The ILLINI HAVE get tougher though also, they are getting pushed around, with Tomi workin a career high, they would be severly behind to say the least.

Tomi is cooking. Wisco is up in offensive boards 9-3. Clean that up and we should win.

Losing this with the amount of times we've had them close to down and out would suck.

Weird game. Seems like we should be putting them away and they go on a run because we can’t stop stepping on our own dicks. Really miss Boswell’s defense here

We've done a good job taking care of the basketball all season but tonight we are uncharacteristically kicking it around.

Losing this with the amount of times we've had them close to down and out would suck.

Welp. But we can only point the finger at ourselves. We had them down double digits in the 2nd half and pissed it away. A loss that should not have happened even with a 6 man rotation.

Had em by at least 12 in 2nd.....guess we know what can beat the nations tallest team.....some of the smallest, craftiest guards. Not gonna lie, I wanted Blackwell when he was coming, wished we could have had him.

guard shortage, missed free throws, rebounding, turnovers, egregious refs

I heard the free throws didn't matter somewhere? Rebounding we lost to such an inferior team, same as at MSU to be honest. The refs are the refs, we didn't have them on our side last game or tonight...........and it is the B1G so tighten up.

Brad Underwood had some thoughts on the officiating in Illinois game against Wisconsin.

I have thoughts on our free shot shooting, our turnovers and rebounding.
Title: Re: Illinois vs Wisconsin
Post by: illiniray on February 11, 2026, 10:48:06 AM
I have thoughts on Wisconsin's guys shoving our guys out of bounds to get rebounds.

Turnovers were related to the guard shortage  / fatigue factor

The officiating was as objectively bad as I have seen in college basketball.

I have thoughts on our free shot shooting, our turnovers and rebounding.

I have thoughts on these issues being issues due to being tired since playing down 2 starters and still playing a  shortened bench.

If they box out, they beat us.

I object when they grab jerseys or push off to get position.

I object when the game is called one way at one end, another way at the other end. That is expected at MSU. Not at home.

I think Underwood agrees too

Much of his post game interview focused on those concerns. He was also clearly irate about egregious officiating. He used the same adjective I did. I think he is capable of addressing multiple issues at the same time.

What he say about his playing time management coming off a 2OT game and another starter being out?

Egregious officiating?  That's pretty stilted language for incompetent.

very noticeable

as in blatant
very noticeable especially for being incorrect or bad

Oh, and Underwood used the same adjective

The officials sucked
We sucked down the stretch

But let’s call out the pathetic home crowd. I’ve been to funerals that were louder than what the Krush gave us last night. Our home atmosphere has to be the near the fucking bottom for a high major team.

"No message" can refer to several different things depending on your context:

Common Interpretations
Philosophical/Social: The phrase "no message is a message" often implies that a person’s silence or lack of response is an intentional form of communication, suggesting disinterest, a desire for space, or a "non-answer" that still conveys meaning.

Music:
Hamidshax: An electronic music artist who released an album and track titled "No Message" in July 2022.
Art P: An electronic duo that released an album titled "No Message" in 1985 (re-released on vinyl) featuring a mix of synth-wave and electro.
Other artists with songs titled "No Message" include Lil Mooch, Manucho, and Penny Tai.

Technical Issues:
If you are seeing a notification but no actual message, it might be a cached data error on Android or a visual bug on platforms like Reddit where the sender may have been banned or deleted the message.
If messages are not sending or being received, it could be due to a full iCloud storage, being blocked by the recipient, or requiring an app update/cache clear.

Pop Culture: In the Call of Duty series, the line "That was no message" is a famous quote from the "No Russian" mission in Modern Warfare 2.

Are you experiencing a technical glitch with an app, or were you looking for a song or a specific quote?
