So your sayin there's a chance....NOPE, win by 35 +, Lee gets some run, would like to see some twin tower action, would like to see Wagler get some breather and see Humrichous/Davis have some big games.

Waglerovic showing the rest of the euros the euro step.

Could not watch due to work. I see that leading scorer Jake Davis - wait, really? - led the charge.

Only negative from todays game was turnovers imo...
Southern is ranked with 2 of their players Top 10 in steals in conference. +2.8 in steals per game as a team vs -2.7 for ILLINI, Underwood stated post game that they are very good defensively, they were far more aggressive on defense early for sure. 2nd half the ILLINI tightened up.
Good Win, covered spread, and some 2nd teamers/role players got some valuable minutes in. I am sure Petrovic is starting to learn that defensively the players he keeps losing the ball too are not Euro bench type players.

Pulled a Tempo and forgot the game was an afternoon tussle and missed it. Watching it now on DVR.

Reiterate my thought about these guys. Hard part about all the turnover every year is getting some chemistry and rotations set. That’s why Purdue always looks unstoppable early because they already have that. But this team is turning into something pretty fucking good imo. Our losses are all against top 15 teams, all were relatively close, and we have a couple top 15 wins of our own. And we weren’t even fully healthy yet for most of those games. And we are only going to get better. Really hope we can stay healthy and keep refining our scheme around all this talent. Keep waiting for Wagler to hit his freshman slump, and maybe it’ll happen in the B1G grind, but the kid seems unshakable thus far. We brought a 22 year old pro over from Europe that was pretty highly regarded and he can barely find the floor in blowouts.
