I just went by the house from Lebowski where Little Larry lived with his father, Arthur Digby Sellars, who wrote the bulk of the Branded series. Also ate at the In n Out nearby afterwards. Was a few blocks from our Airbnb.

That is maybe the best of SciFi/fantasy along with the Twilight Zone and the original Star Trek? Also Star Gate. Maybe include Early Edition here.

The plot of what start out as good shows will sometimes go sideways after the first couple years.

Yeah that last season was laughably bad, the rest was pretty good though from what I remember

We started when it was 3 or so seasons in, and when we found it, we binged watched it. Back then, Netflix was still DVDs, and you could have 3 DVDs at a time, LOST had 3 episodes per DVD. We'd mow through 9 episodes and not want to wait for the round trip in the mail of a new DVD, so we'd go rent it at a Video store.
Finally we caught up to the broadcast schedule, and we'd watch it live like old school. The last season just started getting muddled, bad, and no way they could tie up all the loose ends. My wife fell asleep in the series finale, and when it was done, I told her "Don't bother watching it, the finale sucked". After all that time and investment, didn't even want to watch the end.
That was the exact same thing that happened with House of Cards. The whole last season was unwatchable.
This was the genius of Breaking Bad, the last season crescendoed into a very satisfying ending.
-
Reminds me of Criminal Minds. The minute Hotchner left, the show absolutely fucking tanked.
-
Yeah, House of Cards was awesome at the beginning. I didn’t see the last season or two, which I’m guessing is a blessing.
Things did not end well for Kevin Spacey.
-
Oh fuck, how did I forget Parks and Recreation? Has anyone mentioned it? Ron Swanson might be the best comedic tv character of all-time.

JJ is still kind of hot..

We watched Coach reruns until fairly recently.

The only thing I liked about the Lost finale was the very final scene. Thought that was at least a little clever with Jack and Vincent there to see him out. Same place where the series started, for what that was worth.

I don't mind watching TV to exercise my brain, have my heart strings yanked, watch social issues dramatized, etc. I prefer being entertained by good comedy. I don't think I can pick best ever.

and of course, the best of them all...
South Park. I highly recommend Season 27
