A lot of programs appear to be struggling with the impact of covid, so I'm not sure Lovie is going anywhere. i'm not sure how you convince an assistant to sign up with a coach on the hot seat, but I've never been a Rod Smith fan and we could use a defensive coordinator.
We were playing about as well as we've played under Lovie against xxxx.
Then Rod Smith calls a 2 yard pass play to Chase Brown who is behind the line of scrimmage and with his back to the line of scrimmage. We didnt pick up the first down after that play and I seem to remember the game going down hill after that 1 play.
xxxx has a good defense, but Peters adding 15 yards to his passing totals after the 1st quarter was on running called plays.

We held them to a short kickoff return on the opening kickoff. The defense came in and played well. Gave the ball over to the ofense, and they played well.
It was a pleasure to watch.
