Illini favored -8.5 at home without Ivisic, this game feels like a flipping Martenelli-Barnhizer takeover. ILLINI cannot afford to come out at home flat again, and they MUST avenge the earlier loss, even without Tomi present.
We have a deep team, but man we need Humrichous to fill the Ivisic shoes tomorrow. Boswell better come ready to guard Berry also or we may be in for a long game.

I don't care who's sick. We need to win today.
-
Not much scoring at the first media timeout but our energy looks good. Three held balls already. Might be a record.
-
Maybe White will get back on track.

Maybe the good Humrichous came to play today.

We'll see what happens next game. 😂😂

3's make me happy...made ones that is.

We may be up 20 but KJ has 3 shots. That's out of character for us.
We're 6-16 from 3, killing them on the boards with 8 offensive boards. They have 13 boards total.
Underwood teams live off of defense. If it's not there, we struggle because we end up in a halfcourt game

DEFENSE and Rez both above average today. Davis is really working hard as well...I like the intensity from him today as well.
-
Biggest win that half, other than the score obviously: Only 3 fouls called on us somehow.

The Italian guy who killed us in Evanston is having a difficult time doing much of anything with Morez on him. Seems like a good adjustment by Brad.

20 point lead with 7:00 to go and I'm still feeling uneasy

Being active and moving your feet instead of reaching on defense.
-
LOL. Looking well coached!

From up 23 with 5:00 to having to sweat it out with 43 seconds left up 8.
Outscored 53-40 in the 2nd half.
But ugly finish aside, it was a win we badly needed.

Man do our guys seem to always let their foot of the pedal and get lackadaisical when up B1G....I know we have had some blowouts this year, but there are too many times we are up B1G when we should be and don't hold it down. That will hurt us come March, mentality/habit that is.

Got up and started working on dinner prep, next thing I know we are only up 8. wtf guys

fake rally

Geez. Went to a buddy's house at the half thinking we had the game and I would help him thru some of the Eglses game. He gew up outside of Philly.
I see we put up 32 from 3 and shot 28% doing it.
We kinda lost the points off turnovers, 24-2.
KJ with a double double, 11-10, with 7 assists and 3 turnovers.
Got a much needed win. Next up is at Nebraska, Thur at 7:30.
