This is it. This is a week in which the dam breaks, or Flus plugs the hole (at least temporarily). Lose this game and the Flus era is over at the end of the season. If Flus somehow manages to win 3 in a row he can still save his job. I think he can get the first two, the third will require beating the Packers. At least they are at home for that one. I’d almost rather have the Lions that game as history says the Bears own Jared Goff.
A lot of chatter this week from media and more importantly players. Not necessarily calling out the coaching directly but implying the accountability isn’t there. I guess “the loaf system” got scrapped? Good (I hated it anyway), but the accountability has to be there. This next game should tell us a lot.
-
Bears get two home games to start off the division schedule. Minnesota comes to town week 4 of the “Will Flus keep his job” tour. Then to Detroit. Win 3-4 in a row and this season is salvageable. I’d rather have Slowik next year, though.
-
As far as Flus is concerned, he’d probably be better off if that second division game was a road game. He just about has to go 4-0 the next 4 to save his job.
But we are Bearscentric here, not Flus centric. Should be interesting.
-
How many games has your guy Eberlose lost when the Bear have had an over 90% win expectancy in the 4th quarter?
-
Cardinal should still be in Chicago.

Three of those were higher than 95%. Fucking loser coach.

I told you this a few days ago. And what makes him “my guy?”
-

You have defended your idiot since he has been here until now.
-
According to PFF:
Bears’ chances of making the playoffs with a win this week. 71%. With a loss, 41%.
-
Braxton Jones is out for sure. Larry Borom likely to start, his first week back off IR. Sweat did not practice but Mark Grote says he thinks he plays. Brisker still out. Almost certainly won’t play. Very concerning. Kyler Gordon sounds 50/50
-
Grote thinks Stevenson doesn’t start, but plays.
-
Tevin Jenkins who was looking pretty iffy yesterday appears trending towards playing.
-
IMO Stevenson needs to be inactive today and put his name on the trade market.

Guess we got the click bait version of the story from Glazer.

No Montez, no Kyler, no, Brisker, no BJax.
PAMan is upset.

Then would hopefully would be one step closer to no more Eberflus

More time for Stevenson to jaw with fans while on the field.
-
I think we’ll find out a lot about the character and culture of this team today. Speculation time is over.
-
I am giving this team and coaching regime one last benefit of the doubt. Angry Bears 21 (formerly) Chicago Cardinals 17.
-
Oline fucks up another drive. Shocker.
-
Murray gets sacked by his own guy :D
-
💩
-
Another slow start. Also shocking.

Agreed. Receivers have to help him out too. Odunze should have caught one and Allen stopped running on the overthrow.
-
Fumblerooski!
-
DL getting killed
-
DL getting killed
Came up with a big sack there
-
Only to have ST fuck up
-
Why would you pass when you are fisting the Bear D with runs?
-
Leverage? I mean, sure I guess but I see that on almost every field goal attempt.
-
Calebs expression said it all lol
-
Going to have to outscore them. Williams better get his shit together earlier than the 4th quarter
-
Fuckin garbage like all year long
-
Take the checkdown, Caleb. It's free yards man.
-
"Sure handed"
Doesn't seem so sure handed with the Bears
-

Lol

Bye, Flus.
-
Fire Flus immediately…
-
Defense looks like they are playing to make sure Everlose gets dumped
-
😂😂😂
-
This fucking team sucks
-
lmfao
53 yard TD run with 4 seconds left in the half. Eberfuck's defense gives up a hail mary run :D
Fuck this coaching staff.
-
Defense looks like they are playing to make sure Everlose gets dumped
We can only hope.
-
Fire Flus immediately…
I'm sure they had a great week of practice
-

They just have to execute better and everything will be fine. This fucking loser will take no accountability whatsoever.
-

They are getting their shit pushed in on D like they were against Washington (Red Zone excepted last week).
The bye came at a terrible time for both sides of the ball
-
"We have each other"
Truly motivational words spoken by Eberflus.
-

He did say he reminded the team what the score was.
-
The D has quit on Tempo's guy Eberlose
-
Why can't the Bear's overpriced receivers get as wide open as the Cardinal receivers?
-
The under the radar story line is that this defense has been bumslayers since the Sweat trade.
-
Holy shit special ed teams today
-
Holy shit special ed teams today
A sign of Eberlose Country Club that Tempo only realizes now.
-
Getting worked in every facet of the game. Nice job!
-
Please fire Flus after this game…
-
Poles needs to go too. This OL is brutal. Overpaid for Rich Lazy DJ Moore who doesn't run his routes. DL sucks too.
-
Mckaskeys need to sell the team
-
Mckaskeys need to sell the team
Maybe Murph can buy the Bear
-
Commanders and Cardinals aren't even world beaters on defense. Waldron and his offense has made both of them look like the 85 Bears.
-
If I was an opposing coach i would literally blitz every single play
-

They don't pick up blitzes or handle stunts very well. Yet Poles is an OL Expert.

I just pulled up a dozen posts from 8-12 months ago proving I wasn’t that attached to the guy. Yet, you persist.
-
I even said they should have brought in a new coach if they were drafting a QB.
-

You said it would by justified, not necessary
-
This was an old fashioned both-sides melt down. Yikes.
Nobody looked good.
-
This is a fucking clown show…
-

Yeah, I wasn’t insistent he be fired. I was indifferent. You got me. “My Guy.”
-
Tempo, why you going to trust your guy Poles to hire a new coach? He won't even draft OL
-

Yep.
-
Tempo, why you going to trust your guy Poles to hire a new coach? He won't even draft OL
Bet that changes.
-
Next years’ first 6 picks need to be OL/DL.
-
Bet that changes.
Hopefully those picks are more productive than his Jones and Scott picks.
-
Will block for food.
-
Still time to re-enact the “The Bears are who we thought they were!” game.
-

Let Lovie Smith be interim HC for the rest of the year.
-
The thing is they absolutely blew it in what was supposed to be the lighter part of the schedule. This is where you had to stack wins before the NFC North rumble. They'll probably beat the Pats next week because if there is one thing Eberflus excels at it's bum slaying. After that, I don't see another win on the schedule.
-
How is the rebuild going?
-
How is the rebuild going?
All going to plan.
-
Welp, minus some incredibly unlikely win streak safe to say the Flus era is over. For the best.
Had higher hopes for this year.
-
3-18 on the road is impressively bad

Looking like I was wrong that they would win The Super Bowl despite Eberlose.

Soft schedule.
And they are only 4-4 despite said soft schedule and they guy they should have never hired has lost the locker room

Plausible.

In no way am I blaming Caleb for all of his struggles, but this flat out isn’t good enough. The only good games he’s had came against bottom 3 defenses.

Good thing you are blaming him since you were unable to watch the game.

ThePAOTCMan AOTC again on Rich Lazy DJ Moore and Eberlose....

Still wondering why Tempo's Guy Sweat didn't play because he has a "shin contusion." Yes, he didn't play because he had a cut on his shin. Jack Youngblood played on a fractured leg, but Wealthy Sweat can't be bothered to play with a cut on his shin. Another Poles Bust.

a contusion is a bruise,
depending how deep or bad it is, that would be difficult to play on

Olin Kreutz gave Sweat the benefit of the doubt saying Sweat always “brings it.” PAMan disagrees.

Sweat is literally the least of the Bears problems, no idea why he's so obsessed with him

Because he isn't on the field when they need him at crunchtime.

I wonder who's in charge of putting players on the field 🤔

If you are watching the games you would see he takes himself out of the game. This is not on Eberlose. It is obvious you are not watching.
