I shoulda gotten a selfie but did say hello and let him know I’m an Illini. He was surprisingly tall. Not like huge but probably 6’2 or so. I always thought he looked small.

That is surprising. I would have guessed like 5'9 or something.

I boarded a plane one time coming back from Hawaii, and Bo Jackson was sitting in first class. Almost shit myself.

You mean you weren’t wearing your complete set of Illini gear with “No Chief, no check!” shirt? What kind of “fan” are you?

I've always like Katz. He got a raw deal from ESPN.

Yeah that was my first thought too. Of course I would think he’s short, he’s always standing next to freakishly tall people.

This actually made me chuckle. I oftentimes do travel in Illini gear when it’s cold out. Don’t have much warm weather Illini stuff I actually wear, mostly collectors stuff. Need to work on that.
