I say we draft Robb and bring him back. What say ye?

No thanks. I’d rather have Truth back than Robb. Completely serious too…
-
Robb left. Why would we "draft" him or beg for him to come back? That's fucking weird.
Seriously. Leave people alone. Pining for old posters is pathetic and weird.
-
Robb is off the deep end so bad there’s no entertainment level left to be had.
-
Yeah. Best to let that sleeping dog lie.
-
Although the carriage ride with Heather, with her looking like some kind of weird hostage, was interesting
-
So, Dipshit34. Are you bored or something? Because it's weird that you're throwing out the Robb bat signal. Do you not have enough people to fight with on here? Did your Twitter humiliation fuck you up that bad?
First, and often, you pine for Spark to come back. Now you're pining for Robb. Stop being weird. Jesus.

Overreaction to a bit much?

My Twitter humiliation? You mean Adam Hoge? Lol
Still funny that the guy who spent weeks pretending to die (and then “did”) as an Internet bit thinks I’m “weird.”

Was thinking you were calling for Robb to be drafted by the Iranian army to protect one of the nuclear sites the Israelis will probably bomb in 90 days or so.

That works.

Thought you'd be on a big bender after that big win yesterday

Thought you'd be on a big bender after that big win yesterday
Outside of when I went to San Antonio a couple of months ago, I don’t think I’ve been drunk since I went to Mexico in December of 2022. I might’ve caught a buzz when my buddy visited me in Chicago last Fall.

How does betting on the Masters on DraftKings work? Do you bet by day?

I won what was called a “showdown.” It’s a single round event. You choose six players all given a salary and have to stay under the salary cap. I won the 4th round which is different from other rounds in that the last round they start off with points, but they only keep those points if they finish in that position. A lot of strategy and game theory along with some good luck needed. I finished 1st in a field of something like 4,756 contestants. $5 entry

You can also do weeklong, which is even harder lol.

I don't really get it but hyped you won.
I have not played or watched very much golf at all in my life (played probably 3-4 times over the last 25 years, you can prolly guess how that went) but I watched the Masters on Sunday. It was fun through 9 with the main contenders.
-
Thanks, I appreciate it. It’s a lot like building a DFS fantasy football lineup (if you’ve ever done that). PGA and NFL are the most fun IMO. I don’t do other sports.
I’ve done a few (very very few) NBA lineups but I’m basically throwing my money away when I do that.
There is a point structure for eagles, birdies, pars, bogeys, double bogeys etc. you can also get points for 3 hole birdie streaks. It’s a lot to learn, but you can learn quickly. The game is mostly about ownership. You want to get that guy who “goes off” at low ownership. I had two of them on Sunday. Tom Kim was less than 1% owned and shot the best round of the day. Keegan Bradley was like 1.5% owned and had a top 3 round of the day. That’s where I made my hey.
-
Yeah I get the general DFS principle of getting the guy who goes off but that not many others picked, just don't understand how it works with golf specifically.
Not a gambler myself but many of my friends are so talk gambling a lot. Can't lie, it's pretty ugly right now hahaha
-
Plus, I had Scottie Scheffler, the winner. But you can win a 4th round showdown without the winner. I’d say it happens at least half the time. But Scottie had one of the top rounds on the day, plus got 13 extra points for winning.
-
Who were your other picks?

Quite literally never heard of any of the other guys. Good shit.
-
A common mistake newbs make in 4th round is picking guys in the top 10-15 because they have “starting points.” But they only keep those points if they keep that position lol
I picked two guys who weren’t necessarily having a great week and came from the back of the pack.

I didn’t realize Keegan Bradley was even still golfing.

He’s 37. A player of his quality usually sticks on tour till 45-50.
-
Keegan Bradley should have been on the Ryder Cup team last year, but Zach Johnson chose to select Speith’s best buddy instead.

Yeah, Bradley got hosed. He handled himself beyond what anyone would expect in that situation in the Netflix series. He will never get another shot at it.
The US Ryder Cup team culture is pretty fucked at times.
