What does Washington have personnel wise that even the Bear would want?

Terry McLaurin is awesome. A DJ Moore level talent that has produced at a high level for several years despite bad quarterback pay. Daron Payne would be a good fit, but I’d rather have McLaurin. And they have draft assets.

And they have an owner who is allegedly cash strapped and sold off assets last year. What if he wants to actually build through the draft?

The Goggle says he’s worth 8 billion. Bet that’s more than most owners.

He’s got a fixed salary cap, so he can’t just spend his own money anyhow. It’s not baseball. I’m sure he didn’t buy the team to run it like Jerry Reinsdorf.

LOL. The word in DC was he did not shit can Rivera mid-season due to the cost. Just because you have a "net worth of X" does it mean you have cash, or the desire, to blow through it on your team.

It wouldn’t cost anything to shitcan a coach midseason

A guy who owns two sports franchises isn’t going to buy a third if he's broke. I’m betting the Commanders have plenty of money.

The guy just bought the team. The NFL isn’t going to approve a new owner who appears to be on shaky ground.

You can't be serious.  But given your love of Fields you undoubtedly are.

How does it save them money to wait to fire a coach after the season? They owe him what his contract says they owe him.

Depends upon the contract. Could owe him the rest at the time he is fired. Could also be diminished byout clause at year end. He had one year left in his contract. Could have been salary bumps for guys moving up a notch too? They fired Del Rio as DC 12 games in. All I know is I heard that the new owner was reticent to cut bait, after spending $6b for the team, despite having Bienemy sitting there.

Lol

For a guy who gambles a lot on football, you don't seem to know much beyond fantasy stats.

Rare to find 14 minutes of intelligent, level-headed discussion on this topic, but here it is.

Works for me. Google Louis Riddick/Justin Fields. Or Commanders need to move Heaven and Earth to get Caleb Williams
