Well, he has an EE and S16 in 4 years and would have made tourney in Covid year. So yeah he is not without a lot of success.
Having an obvious anger management problem and being seen as an asshole is not necessarily a problem black or white.
McCaffery and Underwood have both been embarrassing at times also, (although they have never hit anyone) and neither one of them has sniffed a second weekend in their career.

Based on Howard's past actions, current Michigan record/play and his own contract details with ZERO tolerance and the "hushed" Sanderson-Howard-Howard incident....I would say it is a formality as to WHEN not IF he is fired (although a mutual-I am leaving due to health would be feasible as well.)

I still think something will happen as it is related to the Sanderson issue. He is still employed, still not involved with Michigan basketball per reports I have seen, and very well respected by most in the college circles for getting athletes to next level play, (much the same as our own ILLINI S/C coach is.)

Howard quite simply is just not a good coach, the losing affects his abilities to lead imo, and the university is just 1 more incident away from moving on.
