I guess they will have to look at matchups and decide who to play in different situations between Harmon, Dainja, and Goode.
Not sure about how much they can do Hawkins and Dainja on floor at same time.
We are down to a seven man rotation really.
Hawkins and Guerrier and Domask going to be playing 36 mpg.

Best outcome of this situation is Underwood gets Art Briles’ed and Illinois gets a new coach for next year.

Up 20 against a very inferior team, a 6'3" avg height team, a team scoring 81 pts a game against well garbage teams and we are laying an egg with our ballhandling so far.
Ballhandling and free throws (not tonight) have been issues all year, even without TSJ we should not be having issues against this type of team.
Kudo's to Harmon for a career first half playing back in state.

and well there is CoHawk, man the mighty have fallen...this kid just doesn't bring enough energy/talent every game...and he possesses a ton of both. Bring it CoHawk, this is your moment to get that name/recognition back with TSJ down/out.

I was a little behind.
That was a 40 point win. They outscore us 11-3 in the last 3 minutes.

Very solid particularly on the offensive end. Hard to believe game was 29-23 at one point but we shifted gears and never looked back. B1G will be rough but still should win a few games we shouldn't.

Team still has enough skill and size and experience to win more than we lose in conference play.

Could anyone have asked for anything better than having a 30 point (40 point) win with 6 guys in double figures, three of them with 18/18/19, a few double doubles, scoring 104 points, etc 30 hours after everything broke?

If we rebound the ball as well as tonight (we won't) against the superior talented B1G teams, and figure out a way to get turnovers figured out (breaking press), then we will be Top 3-5 still in this league this year. If not, well a crapshoot.
Purdue is still the only superior team to us imo, I am looking forward to seeing Rodgers guard either Smith or Loyer, although the Heide kid looks like a nominee for career high against us, that kid jumps out of the gym. Had quite a view high offers, and first player in 8th grade to ever play for his high school team.
