But Taysom Hill is just a JAG…Most people think David Montgomery is a pretty good back, right? If I had 4th and goal from the 5 with the Super Bowl on the line give me Taysom Hill over him or most other backs all day long. Probably the best Swiss Army knife in football.

I’m starting him in my flex spot this week.

Question for you: why do you think New Orleans continues to give him the football even though everyone in the stadium knows he’s going to run it, and they/he are still successful at doing it?

Because it works. It's a nice scheme, and he's talented enough to execute it. To me, it's like Joliet Catholic. If you watch them, they've run the same offense, same scheme, same everything for probably longer than I've been alive. They still run the same shit today. Everyone knows what they do, and they are very successful. Why? Because it's a great scheme, with all 11 guys working together to run it. Doesn't hurt that they can also recruit from a population of several million, but that's another topic.
I've said this all along, and I'll say it one more time. I think Taysom Hill is a good player. I don't think he's one of the best runners in football.

I don't know. I don't care about the Saints, and what offense they run, and who they do it with. Apparently they like Taysom in those situations.

I think Taysom Hill looks like a moron (and probably is) but is a uniquely talented football player. Not many guys can throw a 50 yard touchdown, Gun down punt returners, run over and/or around defenders, and catch a TD pass from the slot. Hell, I’m surprised he doesn’t kick FGs.

I agree, he us uniquely talented. He's a nice player. I would love it if he were on the Bears.

I'm gonna disagree a little bit here. It's more than barely offense. Everyone has an assignment. How do you think holes open up?
My guess is they find the weakest spot in the defense, focus on that, and run Taysom at it. That's a scheme. Simplistic, sure, but a scheme none the less.

I'm sure they do. When the Wildcat first came out, it was the Dolphins. People tried to copy it, and it kinda died out. The Saints have the skillset to run it effectively.
