Getsy sucks. Went away from what worked in the 1st half against the Saints. Bagent deserves better.
-
Bagent needs 52 HOF caliber players, a HOF caliber coaching staff, a HOF caliber GM and 30+ more starts before we can properly judge him.
-
Bagent is ruining Getsy’s reputation!
-
Olin Kreutz and Patrick Mannelly said they felt Getsy put too much on Bagent’s plate. I would agree.

Bagent is ruining Getsy’s reputation!
No, it is all Getsy's fault, not the QB's! It is never the QB's fault.
-

He knows the offense. Guys were not getting open. And Bagent likes to throw the ball behind the receiver over the middle.

What did Tyson Bagent’s three interceptions and one fumble mean Sunday?
That the Bears still don’t have a quarterback.
The hope — the fantasy? — was that Bagent would play well enough that the Justin Fields experience would mercifully end for everyone involved. But all the good that the fairy tale QB did in the first half was wiped out by a very bad second half in a 24-17 loss to the Saints.
***
And that’s too bad. At halftime, he was 10 of 13 for 149 yards and two touchdowns. He threw a bad interception in the first quarter, but he more than made up for it with 60 rushing yards on six carries. He was everything that Fields hasn’t been in 2½ years — accurate with his throws, poised in the pocket and willing to go through his reads to find an open receiver.
***
If Fields’ dislocated right thumb is better, he’ll start Thursday against the Panthers. In the grand scheme of things, it won’t matter. If he plays well, the Fields skeptics will say it’s because he was playing against lowly Carolina. If he doesn’t play well, the Fields cheering section will say it’s because his thumb wasn’t completely healed. It might seem like the guy can’t win, but that’s really not the story. The story is that we already know what he is midway through his third season.
The story is that he isn’t it. He isn’t the answer.
***
The strangest part of the Bagent Era, short as it was, was how some Bears fans continued to have a death grip on the idea of Fields’ being good, even though nothing in his passing statistics deserved that level of ardor. And because they prayed that Fields be the quarterback they wanted him to be, it was as if they prayed for Bagent to fail. Possibly because they’d spent $100 each on a Fields’ jersey.

I feel like I saw more open receivers for the Bears yesterday than I had since Alshon and Brandon were here.
-
Why does PAMan keep linking Morrissey. Who cares what he thinks. Wasn’t he on the Bagent train (that derailed)?
-
Morrissey and Boomer should have lunch.
-
Apparently Morrissey also forgot about back to back 125+ passer ratings a month or so ago, which somehow was completely wiped out by 10 mostly uneventful passes and a thumb injury against Minnesota.
-
Morrissey attempting to fill the void that Mariotti left behind.
-
Ouch.
This Mariottiesque shit-stirring impresses you? The last few pieces from Morrissey were hot garbage trolling. I wonder if he was this bad when I used to read his shit in the 90s. I don’t recall.

Man, that’s gold, Jerry!
-
It is unbelievable how Morrissey has pegged this. He was never a guy whose takes I ever remembered. He is dead on here, as Tempo proves on an hourly basis.
-
Seems to me like Morrissey is bitter that the Bagent train he took a front seat on derailed.
-
I’m sure you and the 11 other people that still read Morrissey got a kick out of his column, though!
-
The difference between Bagent and Fields:
Yes, sometimes the offense “looks better” with Bagent taking what is given. But Justin Fields sometimes takes what he wants. The Bears’ Cover 2 defense is literally designed to take advantage of quarterbacks like Tyson Bagent. Can you go 12 plays downfield without a mistake? The Cover 2 fears players who can go downfield in one play (Justin Fields).
That’s not taking anything away from Bagent. He looks like he could have a lengthy career as a legit backup. But he will never strike fear into an opponent. Just Fields does, and his opponents have said as much.
-
Too hilarious and too bad Fields doesn't get to play the Bear defense.

Not that many, but defensive principles are largely the same. The main goal of virtually every defense is to take away the big play.

Sure it is. But Cover 2 sucks unless you have a pass rush and a linebacker like Urlacher. So your point about the Bear D to Fields is irrelevant... c'mon man.

Most teams are happy to give you the small conversions, because they know you’re gonna make a mistake or two most possessions. Doesn’t matter what defense.

There’s a reason people are saying the offense looks better with Bagent, Tempo…

You forgot perhaps the biggest 4th quarter detriment for Fields: himself.
-
There’s a reason people are saying the offense looks better with Bagent, Tempo…
Yes. Some people. What did the offense do in crunch time yesterday? 3 straight turnovers. The offense might “look” better, but it is not better. The kid has 7 or 8 turnovers in a little more than 3 games. But yeah, the offense “looks good.” Lol
Sorry, but the numbers just don’t bear that out. There are things Bagent does better. It doesn’t mean it’s better overall.

You don’t spend 2 1sts on a kid, have him flash the potential he’s flashed, to move on to a UDFA rookie 2+ seasons in. Only fucking meatballs think that.
-
There’s a reason people are saying the offense looks better with Bagent, Tempo…
The offense scored 24 on the back of the running game against a Raiders squad that fired its coach a couple days after the game. They scored 13 against the Chargers, a team people have been exploiting with the pass. And 17 and had 5 turnovers against NO. Fields had just put up 40 on Washington. But OMG the offense and the QB (with Bagent).
-

What potential? He has sucked ass except for 3 quarters against Denver and 2 quarters against Washington, 2 terrible Ds at the time. You saw him sucking against the Vikings, still unable to decipher where the ball should go when there was a blitz or read a zone defense (in year 3!). The guy is a football mental midget.
You do when you made a huge mistake drafting Justin Fields (like Cade McNown, I could go on and on....).
-
Lol
-
Lol
You are honestly going to tell everyone he did not suck ass in the 4th quarter against Denver, in the second half against Washington, and against the Viking?
-
Lol. As I said, incredibly myopic.
-
Regarding the two games in which he had consecutive 130 passer ratings:
“Yeah, but what about the parts of those games that weren’t particularly good?”
-
Lol. As I said, incredibly myopic.
Tempo's answer: "Yes, I will maintain that Fields he did not suck ass in the 4th quarter against Denver, in the second half against Washington, and against the Vikings. I will rely on the passing rating built up over the 5 quarters in the 2 games he did not suck against the shittiest defenses in the league at time and ignore the times he was shitty as well as when he pissed away the Denver game in the 4th quarter."

Did he have any hurries?
It probably is a bad contract and Mack Trade Part Deux because they do not have a QB and probably will not have one for 2 years.
-

He blew the Denver game in the 4th quarter. Did nothing the 2d half against Washington. Stunk against the Vikings while he was in there. Yeah, he is awesome!

You LOVE talking about how shitty the defense is. But ALWAYS fail to mention the very significant role the defense played in that loss. Ironic, huh.

Illinois has never won a title. Yet you still follow faithfully.

I saw Sweat cave the pocket a time or two. He had a pass defended and a couple tackles. Including a probable touchdown saving tackle of Taysom Hill from behind. I’ll look up his snap count. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t fairly low since it’s his first game in the defense.
-
Apparently he played 41 snaps. Quite a bit more than I would have thought. What a BUST!

So you’re counting a national title that occurred 65-70 years before you were born? Sweet. Talk about fringe association.
For the record, I don’t have a problem with someone being a Bears or Illini fan. The two are really intertwined actually.
I think your vendetta against the Bears is a bit odd. McCaskeys.

Has he been hurt? Why only 40 snaps? It's a cover 2 defense, what complex rushes that the Bears run did he need to learn? The treatment here is bizarre for a D lineman.

You are correct that the two are really intwined, and most of their combined success is ancient history. I was four years old the last time the Bears won their one and only SB, and I’m approaching middle age.
I think you can admit there is a difference in attending an institution for 4-8 years, following in the footsteps of parents/grandparents, earning degree(s) that shape the way you impact the world and form a legacy, rubbing shoulders with the student athletes, etc versus cheering for a professional franchise.
Yeah, Illinois football sucks but my Illini roots go much, much deeper than my Bears roots. I grew up laying on the living room floor listening to games as a kid (circa Jeff George) because we didn’t get all of them on TV or go to every game in those days. It all plays a role in my loyalty.
As I’ve said before, the Bears really only have one job, and that’s to win football games/championships. And they’re terrible at it, yet they sell out games and make money hand over fist. Talk about enabling a shitty culture. Football at Illinois is just part of a much larger, more impactful experience.

Every pass play Sweat was in on. Saw a handful of positive plays. Obviously, no sacks.

Well if you weren’t so massively ignorant you’d have seen that he:
forced his man into the quarterback 2-3 times causing early or abbreviated throws. Directly caused an incompletion by getting his hand on the ball while the quarterback was throwing. Drew a handful of double teams (helping free up others), and had a probable touchdown saving tackle where he ran the width of the field to chase down one of the best runners in football. Sorry he didn’t Theismann Derek Carr, but he wasn’t exactly invisible.

Oh no, he got blocked by another pro? What a bum.

The only Bear between Taysom Hill and the end zone was Eddie Jackson (who had a blocker on him). Does anyone here think Eddie Jackson was tackling Taysom Hill one on one (with a blocker in front him). Impressive hustle play from Sweat.

And, I don't give a rat's fuck about my pass rusher being able to run down field and save a touchdown. My safeties and linebackers should be doing that.

So, he basically did the job of a regular, run of the mill pass rusher? Cool.
Drew a handful of double teams? Jesus. How many times do you think Khalil Mack is double teamed in a game? Maybe not as much as one would think because he has Bosa on the other side, but the fact that there is nobody worth a shit opposite of Sweat, and they don't feel the need to double him, kinda speaks volumes.
I hope he's the answer, but he needs to play with better effort than he did last week.

You just paid this guy Myles Garrett-type money, and traded a 2, and he does not need to be double teamed by the Saints. But Tempo loves the trade when you could have overpaid for this guy in free agency without trading a high 2. Tempo is the biggest meatball fan here.

He had an angle and made a tackle. That's great!
He's a pass rusher. He's being paid to kill the quarterback. When he's running down field making tackles, that's a great bonus, but I kinda don't care about that. And like I said, it's often because contain was blown and he's running it down.
As far as "meatball takes", I won't even address that. I know football. I've played it, I've coached it. I don't depend on what Danny Parkins and Dan Bernstein tell me.
-
Wait a minute. Is Taysom Hill really one of the best runners in football? Because if so, that's an indictment of the NFL.
He's a nice gadget player. Not much more than that. Not good enough to be a QB, not good enough to be a RB. Too small to be a TE.

Wait a minute. Is Taysom Hill really one of the best runners in football? Because if so, that's an indictment of the NFL.
He's a nice gadget player. Not much more than that. Not good enough to be a QB, not good enough to be a RB. Too small to be a TE.
Yes, that’s why they let him run it in the red zone when everyone in the fucking building knows he’s running it.
-
LOL! LMFAO! ROFL! LOLOLOLOL
HAHAHAHAHAHA
-
Yes, that’s why they let him run it in the red zone when everyone in the fucking building knows he’s running it.
LOL
-
Please tell me you are trolling.
I already know you are a meatball fan.
Seriously? You did not see that they did not bother to double team Sweat at all? You used to be better than this. It cannot all be that being a FFF has messed you up.
-
Taysom Hill is one of the best runners in football
He's a nice player. I actually enjoy watching him play. But he wasn't one of the best runners in football until Tempo needed it for his narrative.
LOL! LMAO! LMFAO! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
-
This is pretty sad, Tempo. You are broken.
-
He had an angle and made a tackle.
Since it was the opposite end of the field, it obviously wasn’t “his” contain, so what the fuck are you whining about?
I never heard anyone build Sweat up as an “elite” pass rusher. He’s a very good pass rusher, and he’s a very good all around DE. But he’s not an “elite” pass rusher, that’s why the Bosas, Watt, et al make more money despite signing contracts before he did. You’re being absurd. It’s one fucking game. You sound like MyopicPAMan.
-
:-\i

Being on the opposite side of your opinion virtually assures me that I am right.

That is not what he said. WTF? Your skills have become far too diminished. SMDH.

Dude, they just paid a 2 and Myles Garrett money, needlessly, for a guy who does not need to be double teamed AT ALL. Poles is just trying to save his ass while fucking up the salary cap for guys that maybe could help on the O Line?
-
Taysom Hill is one of the best runners in football
He's a nice player. I actually enjoy watching him play. But he wasn't one of the best runners in football until Tempo needed it for his narrative.
LOL! LMAO! LMFAO! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yes, he is. That’s why he’s probably the only player in the league who when he comes in the entire stadium knows who’s running it. And they let him do it anyway. Because he’s quite good at it.
-

I'm not whining about anything. Why would you think I'm whining? God damn, you are so socially awkward.
-
This is pretty sad, Tempo. You are broken.
I don't mean to pile on, but that Taysom Hill take is a stretch. He's a decent player, but doesn't deserve those accolades.
-

Being on the opposite side of your opinion virtually assures me that I am right.
Yeah, stick with the Fields Could Have Comeback Against the Vikings! hot takes. ROTFL.
We are now entering the Miles Ass Whipping Tempo Territory from the other week.
-
That is not what he said. WTF? Your skills have become far too diminished. SMDH.
Why is he going to “contain was broken” angle when it wasn’t his contain? Makes zero sense. It was an excellent TOUCHDOWN SAVING play.
-
Yes, he is. That’s why he’s probably the only player in the league who when he comes in the entire stadium knows who’s running it. And they let him do it anyway. Because he’s quite good at it.
Ok? And he's done exactly what for New Orleans? Run some gadget plays? lol
Whatever. He's not one of the best runners in football. Sorry, man.
-
Yeah, stick with the Fields Could Have Comeback Against the Vikings! hot takes. ROTFL.

You are incorrigible. You should probably seek mental help. Your need to troll is out of control.

It is sad, George, when a once great poster loses his fastball.
-
You are incorrigible. You should probably seek mental help. Your need to troll is out of control.
I am not the one with the delusional football takes. You own that ground lately.
-
Why is he going to “contain was broken” angle when it wasn’t his contain? Makes zero sense. It was an excellent TOUCHDOWN SAVING play.
I didn't say he lost contain. I said the reason that pass rushers make plays down field was because contain was broken. Sure he made a nice play on that, but I would rather that not happen.
Clear, or are you still confused?
-
Ok? And he's done exactly what for New Orleans? Run some gadget plays? lol
Whatever. He's not one of the best runners in football. Sorry, man.
Screw touchdown saving hustle plays. wHeRE iS My sACk?
-
Why is he going to “contain was broken” angle when it wasn’t his contain? Makes zero sense. It was an excellent TOUCHDOWN SAVING play.
Because you are a meatball, you have no concept of what Jobu said regarding contain. He did not say it was Sweat who lost contain, he said it was whomever on the side where the ball was run that lost contain. This is Football 102 (it may be beyond Football 101?) stuff that even I get.
-
I don't mean to pile on, but that Taysom Hill take is a stretch. He's a decent player, but doesn't deserve those accolades.
Yes. I would like him as a Bear. But I don't think of Taysom Hill as one of the best runners in football. They have a nice scheme when they get him in there, and he executes it. He's not that fucking special. Decent player, for sure.
-
I didn't say he lost contain. I said the reason that pass rushers make plays down field was because contain was broken. Sure he made a nice play on that, but I would rather that not happen.

He is not confused. He just has no clue.
-
I didn't say he lost contain. I said the reason that pass rushers make plays down field was because contain was broken. Sure he made a nice play on that, but I would rather that not happen.
Clear, or are you still confused?
You’d rather he keep contain on a play rather than chasing down ball carriers on the opposite side of the field to save touchdown runs. Got it.
-
Screw touchdown saving hustle plays. wHeRE iS My sACk?
Why do you want your pass rusher running down the field to save touchdowns?
-
You’d rather he keep contain on a play rather than chasing down ball carriers on the opposite side of the field to save touchdown runs. Got it.
Did your kid hit you in the head with a golf club or something? Because this is idiotic.
-
FTR I don’t recall anyone saying he was an elite pass rusher. The narrative on him was that he was a guy who played both run and pass well and is a good lockerroom guy.
-
We've officially reached a new low here at HQ2.
This is unbelievable.
-
But you guys are RIGHT. He played a full game and didn’t even record a sack. What a BUST!
-

This is unbelievable.
Yes, yes you have.
-
FTR I don’t recall anyone saying he was an elite pass rusher. The narrative on him was that he was a guy who played both run and pass well and is a good lockerroom guy.
They just gave him Elite Guy money. And needlessly gave up a 2 to do so.
-
You’d rather he keep contain on a play rather than chasing down ball carriers on the opposite side of the field to save touchdown runs. Got it.
What? No. Are you a fucking retard?
I'm glad he made the play. But I'm not judging his ability on it. I said the reason pass rushers need to run down a play and make a tackle is because contain was broken. If contain is not broken, well then that play doesn't need to be made, right? Because the play is made long before the need to run down a play exists.
Kudos to him for running it down.
-
Seriously, am I talking to a retard? Because I feel like I'm talking to a retard.
-
Yes, yes you have.
It is clear you have no idea of what you are discussing. Mark Twain said it best: "It is better for Tempo to keep his mouth closed and let people think he is a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
-
But you guys are RIGHT. He played a full game and didn’t even record a sack. What a BUST!
Tempo, the worst part is that they did not even bother to try and double team him.
-
Seriously, am I talking to a retard? Because I feel like I'm talking to a retard.
Hopefully Tempo is not coaching his kid in football.
-
Just so we're 100% clear. When a fucking pass rusher is running down the field after a running back (or Taysom Hill, one of the best runners in football), it means something negative happened. It's nice that said pass rusher was able to run it down and save a touchdown, but do we want that to happen frequently? Fuck no. It's nice that he saved said touchdown, but I would rather see the play made when it's supposed to be made.
-
You’d rather he keep contain on a play rather than chasing down ball carriers on the opposite side of the field to save touchdown runs. Got it.

Jesus Christ. Learn how to fucking read.

No, they didn’t. Multiples guys have bigger contracts and they signed a year or two ago for the most part. He’s cheaper than what GB for Rashon Gary, and he’s better than Gary.
-
Jesus Christ. Learn how to fucking read.
Learn to make better points.
-
No, they didn’t. Multiples guys have bigger contracts and they signed a year or two ago for the most part. He’s cheaper than what GB for Rashon Gary, and he’s better than Gary.
We shall see. Does Gary get double teamed on passing downs? Because Sweat wasn't Sunday.
-
Learn to make better points.
The problem here is not Jobu. The problem is that you are a meatball fan who has to defend his shitty takes to the death.
-
We shall see. Does Gary get double teamed on passing downs? Because Sweat wasn't Sunday.
You literally are declaring a guy a bust after one fucking game with a team he got traded to a week ago. You are the embodiment of the fan/talking head that you say you loathe. You are a meatball of the highest order.
-
The level of entitlement you display is just otherworldly.
-
You literally are declaring a guy a bust after one fucking game with a team he got traded to a week ago. You are the embodiment of the fan/talking head that you say you loathe. You are a meatball of the highest order.
He is a fucking D lineman. It is not rocket surgery. We all have to wait for 50 starts to form an opinion like on Fields?
This is great coming from a guy who does not get the concept of "blown containment"? You have become a parody of yourself.
-
The level of entitlement you display is just otherworldly.
Just admit for once you are clueless.
-

I'm not trying to speak for PAMan, but I'm not declaring him a bust. With that being said, after watching that film, he didn't make himself difficult to block. I hope he makes more of an impact going forward.
-
He is a fucking D lineman. It is not rocket surgery. We all have to wait for 50 starts to form an opinion like on Fields?

Yeah, in that tape, he looked like once he was blocked, it was over.
We'll see. I was hoping for more in that first game.
-
With all that being said, Tempo needs to stop acting like a retard.
-
There isn’t a coach in the NFL that wouldn’t praise Sweat for that play on Hill in front of the team on film day; but you guys are crying about the lack of a sack in a one game sample size. He forced his guy into the QB multiple times and had a pass breakup. You guys make it sound like he was invisible.
-
That pass breakup was a split second from being a forced fumble.
-

I will fucking guarantee you that on film, someone got absolutely roasted because Montez Sweat had to run down that tackle. Sure, they probably praised him for the hustle, but there is no way that they aren't breaking down why in the fuck Montez Sweat had to chase down one of the best runners in football (lol) from the other side of the field to save a touchdown.
-
With all that being said, Tempo needs to stop acting like a retard.
Ok. Mr. Mob Mentality.
-
That pass breakup was a split second from being a forced fumble.
Ok. Nice. He made a play. Good!
-
Ok. Mr. Mob Mentality.
Has nothing to do with it. Just stop acting like a retard that doesn't know how to read. You're better than that. I understand your technique. I say something, you say I said something that I didn't say, and you run with it. It's stupid to do that. Have an honest conversation.
Or don't. Either way...
-
Ok. Nice. He made a play. Good!
And then there was the probable touchdown saving play…
-

You’re literally crying about broken contain (that wasn’t his) on a play he ran all the way across the field to chase down a guy with 4.4 speed to prevent a touchdown.
-
And then there was the probable touchdown saving play…
I said that was a good play too. Right? I'm pretty sure I did. But that's not a play he should be making...
-
You’re literally crying about broken contain (that wasn’t his) on a play he ran all the way across the field to chase down a guy with sub 4.4 speed to prevent a touchdown.
I am not literally crying. You dipshit, lol
Someone broke contain. He ran it down. That was nice. But that's not his primary job.
And Taysom Hill does not run sub 4.4. And even if he does, he wasn't running at a dead sprint down the field when your guy caught him. Are you saying Sweat runs a sub 4.4?
-

His “primary job” is to make plays and prevent touchdowns. Mission accomplished.
-
about broken contain (that wasn’t his)
Well, this is improvement. You finally figured out what Jobu had posted an hour, or so, ago.
-
His “primary job” is to make plays and prevent touchdowns. Mission accomplished.
Jobu, dress Tempo's picture up in an airman's outfit like W. "Mission accomplished." This is rich. LOL.
-
Here he beats a double team to stuff a run play. bUT iTs nOT a sAcK.

His primary job is to rush the passer and help in run support. I'm glad he made the play. But it shouldn't have come down to that.
Jared Allen was famous for that. Not exactly the same situation, but he would get blocked, the back would get through, and 15 yards down the field, there was Jared making a play. And the announcers would be praising him for his hustle.
We'll see how this shakes out. You're in the Sweat fan club for no apparent reason. That's fine. His play will tell the story.

Uh, I mentioned at the start that he was double teamed on a run play. Just not on passing plays. You are not paying him $98m to stop the run, dude.

How anyone watch this play and not love it is beyond me.

That actually was pretty cool.
With that being said, if he's one of the best runners in football, then the NFL sucks.
I don't think he's one of the best runners in football. You never would have said that if you didn't have this weird defend Montez Sweat thing going on.
-
Again, we'll see. I hope Sweat is good. But don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining. And don't tell me Taysom Hill is one of the best runners in football. There's no need to embellish like that to make your point.
-

Taysom Hill is literally the only guy that gets inserted into a game and everyone in the stadium knows what’s coming next and it’s still difficult to stop. Next to Deebo he is probably the best Swiss Army knife in the league.
-
If he weren’t a very effective runner of the ball they wouldn’t take probable HOFer Alvin Kamara out of the game to run him in the red zone.
-
Kinda agree with Tempo on this one. I didn’t know he liked white players, but Hill is pretty phenomenal at what he does.

-

I have said he made a good play on that. You’re choosing to not read what I write.
-
Have they been talking about that play all day on the score or something?
-
And, I don't give a rat's fuck about my pass rusher being able to run down field and save a touchdown. My safeties and linebackers should be doing that.
When a pass rusher is running down field making tackles, it's usually because they lost contain.
IDK, I feal like I red it purty gud.
-
Hill is Tebow Premium
I would agree with that. I think Tebow was bigger tho. He was a hell of an athlete. He just couldn’t throw well enough.

Here come the tropes. A sure sign you’re flailing.

No, just genuinely curious. I’m guessing you’re all over this because it’s a score talking point.

No, just genuinely curious. I’m guessing you’re all over this because it’s a score talking point.
I don’t listen to the score nearly as much as you guys think. Especially lately. And FTR Parkins and Spiegel both think the Bears are moving on from Fields and probably should. Spiegel is all the way out.
-
Regarding PAMan’s Sweat contract narrative: Peter King said Sweat’s contract put him in the medium range of upper DEs. “He’s about 6th now, a year from now he’ll be 13th.”
-
But both Parkins and Spiegel talk about Fields as if he’s gone.
-
Man, if I were the Saints coach I’d run Hill every play. We’d score a thousand points a game.
-
He’s basically Bo Jackson on Tecmo Bowl
-
He’s basically Bo Jackson on Tecmo Bowl
Or a healthy Christian Okoye.
I miss that game.

The Family Guy bit with Peter playing Tecmo Bowl was pretty top notch

Or a healthy Christian Okoye.
I miss that game.
I was actually torn between Okoye and Jackson. Was hoping someone would chime in with Okoye.
When I was a kid we’d rent the original from the movie rental place when a buddy would sleep over or vice versa, it was a big deal if you could get it. We’d play the shit out of it and beg to keep it an extra day. Not sure why we didn’t just buy it, guess we were poor. My brother and I did get Super Bowl and eventually pretty much wear it out. Good times.
