That actually reminds me of a funny story.
When that tornado went through and tore the shit out of Washington, it actually headed toward Soldier Field. By the time the tornado warning hit, the stands were full and the PA guy was telling people that they must leave their seats and head to the concourse.
Apparently, it was taking a while to get the place cleared out, and the PA guy was repeatedly telling people to GTFO and go to the concourse. Turns out that the reason it was taking so long to evacuate was because beer vendors were standing at the end of the stairs leading into the concourse and selling beers to people.

Trying to find reasons for optimism, but then I’m reminded that the Bears are playing practice squad members from other teams in the secondary and on their 3rd string nickelback.
And our offensive line against their defensive line is a scary matchup. We will need a good game plan, lots of hustle, probably 3 turnovers to win. There’s nothing to indicate the Bears will win this game, but I’m still hopeful for some reason.

Next couple of games are very winnable. Playoffs would be realistic if they’d found a way to win against Tampa or Denver.
If we can get that secondary healthy I think the Bears can be pretty respectable the rest of the way.

Yep. We’ve seen a lot of growth the last couple weeks IMO. Looking more comfortable, in rhythm, and decisive.
