The draft is only a week away. Give me a glass eating DT with that first pick!

I’m not full-throat panicked, but the narrative is building. Let’s hope it’s much ado about nothing. Maybe Spark can come by and reassure us.

Apparently lunch time is not peak spelling or grammar time.

Was thinking the same thing.

McElroy is just lucky Trump is so busy being President or Trump would have beat him by several strokes. Per day!

18x club champion! Probably more impressive than the time Putin scored 8 goals against former pro and high level amateur hockey players!

True, but none of them led by multiple shots multiple times. Only Rory. He’s the only guy everyone was thinking (he’s blowing it). Multiple times lol

Yep. Not too much draw to it. Lol
You ? How about if your last name was McIlroy ?

I’d be pretty Irish, and possibly related? IDGI.

And it’s kind of crazy that a guy with his résumé before yesterday “had some ‘splainin’ to do,” but that’s the ridiculous bar we hold to the greats. LeBron trying to live up to Jordan. Rory trying to live up to Tiger. Impossibly high bars.

Rory has mentioned how he wants to play more like Scottie (more cobservative, limit mistakes). He tried that on several occasions and it generally blew up in his face (13). I could not believe it when he put a layup into Rae’s Creek. Rory was at his best when he just hit golf shots and was all in on the shot (7 iron on 15 was unreal). Wedge in playoff was clutch.

I really feel like this could free Rory up in future tournaments. He had this gaping hole on his résumé and I bet he felt pressure in other tournaments to try to fill that hole to some degree (you only get one shot a year at the only major you don’t have). His legacy is cemented now. Everything he does now is sheer gravy.

Thought Rory was dead in the water on a few occasions. Bet he was a little nervous on that last putt.

Didn’t mention the last putt specifically, but I thought it was forthright of him to mention how we was “really nervous” on the first tee. He should hang out with Caleb Williams, he never gets nervous.

A 7 iron from 207 for Rory

That shot was sick.

What a crazy day. Never seen such a roller coaster finish.

Wish I’d had the balls to play Campbell in DFS.

Former Illini Brian Campbell who was the fringiest of PGA Tour players until winning a very low tier event a couple of months ago is -2 thru 8 with 3 birdies (most of the day in the field so far). No chance to win, but hopefully he can have a solid finish.

Shaping up to be a historic finish. Ratings for this one will be huge. Reck Gehman (golf analyst) put it correctly. It’s Good vs Evil and both sides think their guy is the good guy. #teamrory
