In pretty much every case, the team was already built. Besides maybe the Mannings, I don’t see any teams that weren’t built after the fact.” Like say the current Jaguars.

Fields’ contract the next two years is not prohibitive. Might not even be 3-4 years if he stayed that long. You could franchise him for two years

Coaches think they are so damn smart. That play call was far worse than Russell Wilson throwing the ball at the goal line in the SB IMO. Can’t have arguably the best RB in football on the sideline on 4th and 1 with the season on the line.
