I will say that one guy cried because he was eliminated from national title contention (and lost the Heisman?), the other cried because, well, I’m not sure why.

I understand the perfect season argument but I'm still going with the 4 I think will happen.
What would you prefer, Michigan vs Bama or Michigan vs FSU ?

There are 4 teams in the cfp. There are 5 major conferences and, heaven forbid, in years where ND gets a spot then 2 of the Power 5 teams get left out.
And I'm not in the we'll just expand the field to fix the issue camp.

Speaking of bowls, what are the powers that be going to do about the bowl picture for next year and beyond ?
The Big10 has 9 ? bowl tie ins. With the addition of the 4 Pac12 teams, the little sisters of the poor in the conference are getting moved down 2-3 pegs in the bowl pecking order. Will 6-6 teams get left out or will 1 get picked as an at large team for the Famous Toastery Bowl or the LA Bowl hosted by Gronk ?
Or will those go to 7-5 teams ?

That CFP is some bullshit. No way you leave a power-5 school like FSU out when they’re undefeated. Even with their QB down, they won. That defense is championship caliber. I’m not even a Florida State fan, but that’s straight up bullshit. If I was Florida state I’d sue their ass.
