Boise and ASU should not have byes. Boise/Indiana, SMU/Tennessee, ND/Clemson, would have been much better matchups. Next year they need to seed according to ranking, not conference championships. Oregon’s reward for being the 1 seed? Ohio State! Should not have happened this way.
Good thinkin

Something like this ?

What it should be ........

Oregon, Ga, Tx, PSU are seeded 1-4. The 4 teams that have been top ranked teams get byes.
Conference champions who aren't in the top 4 get 1st round home games as their "reward".
Boise, Az St, Clemson and ND with the #8 seed are 5-8 and get 1st round home games vs SMU, Ind, Tn and tOSU.

AP #1 Ga and #2 Ga get AP #6 tOSU and #3 ND.

AP #4 Tx gets #10 ASU and AP #5 PSU gets #8 Boise.

Good job. 👏👏

Kudos to Alex Golesh, former Illini TE coach, on his USF Hawaii Bowl victory.

Way to go Alex, usually the key to success is leaving Illinois!

Congrats Coach for the 5 OT win over any team from misguided SJSU.

I guess a 12 noon CST (Chicago Standard Time) Peach, a 3:30 Rose and a 7pm Sugar was just out of the question. Good job tv. 🤦‍♂️

Edit: Fake news !!!!!!! It looks like the Peach kicks off at 12 noon either East Coast Standard time or 12 noon Chicago Standard Time.

Toledo vs Pitt in the 4th OT.
Pitt down 2 and the QB gets sacked. Toledo players rush the field with the win.
Not sooooo fast. Defensive holding.
One more try for Pitf. Oh, he comes up just short. Toledo players rush the field with the win.
Not sooooo fast. Lol. The ball crossed the goal line.
OT #5 and Pitt converts.
Toledo, thinking they had won the game twice, needs 2.
Sure, why not. Going to OT #6.

We're going to OT #5.

Not for me.
But the refs had to clear the field twice in the 4th OT. Don't think I've seen that before.,

I switched to the Pitt-Toledo game from the MIC Bowl.

Back to the MIC Bowl.
Ok, down 7, scores with 6 seconds to go. What a dilemna. Go for 2 and the win or kick the PAT to go to OT.
Navy sends the Navy after the QB when Ok goes for 2 and Navy gets the sack.
Good job, Navy !!

Going into Tampa, Sven's team had 14 pts off turnovers all year. They got 13 today in the 1st qtr.

Bama goes down again!

Let it be known that in Week 8, Illinois has a better record than Alabama.

And now we can let it be known that Illinois has finished their season with a better record than Alabama.

wtf is up with the narrow camera angles in the open field? They’re so zoomed in on ball carriers you can’t even see if there are any defensive players in position to get to them.

I'm hoping Tx just destroys Az St and the AP can put us higher than cfp Az St and Clemson, and S Car and Bama and, wtf, throw in Tn for good measure.
